I had quite a long and tiring drive today and now I'll have a beer.
Two cans, one German and one Croatian, are chilling waiting for the session.

5th Element ABA

Brewed by Pivovara Daruvar, Daruvar, Croatia,
Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 5.3%, IBU N/A.
Blonde Ale is usually British-style beer, with the usage of British hops, but American Blonde Ale uses American hops and is more malt-oriented with fruity hops.

What do the master brewers say?

A cloudy golden-yellow beer with a persistent white foam. It has a mild, malty taste complemented by medium bitterness and an intense hoppy aroma of citrus and wildflowers. Hops: CENTENNIAL, CASCADE, and CHINOOK. Pasteurized, unfiltered.

Well, this reads like a very interesting beer. I've tried a few from this brewery and they've been pretty good.
I bought it in Croatia, with the intention of trying it there in my caravan on the island of Pag, but it didn't work out, (haha, why?) and I brought it home.

The beer is golden in color, the head is solid and creamy. It smells of freshness, hops, and fruit. The first sip goes down the throat smoothly, with a slight malty sweetness, which is immediately joined in the mouth by hop bitterness and a hint of citrus.
In the aftertaste, everything slowly disappears.

A refreshing and drinkable beer. I like the balance of sweetness and bitterness and the citrus notes. Nothing invasive to deviate.
Since it is also available here, it is possible that some more will end up in my fridge.

Falter Export Hell

Brewed by Privatbrauerei J. B. Falter, Regen, Bavaria, Germany.
Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 5.3% ABV, IBU N/A. The beer is Helles or Dortmunder Export style, more malty than hoppy, with herbal notes.

What do the master brewers say?

Down-to-earth, finely aromatic, and full-bodied in taste, a treat for the palate of spicy elegance. A convincing pleasure for every beer lover. A beer like its homeland.

Whew, that's very ambitious, linking beer and Homeland. I got it at Kalea Beer Box.

The beer is light yellow and clear in color, the head is considerable, creamy, and disappears quickly. The first sip goes down the throat smoothly, there is a malty sweetness in the mouth, quite intense, with no or very little hop bitterness, and tastes of bread and honey and herbs.
In the aftertaste, all this disappears and a discrete hop bitterness emerges at the end.

A drinkable beer, perhaps a little too sweet for my taste but in principle I have no particular complaints. I wouldn't brag too much about it, it's kind of a digestible average.
But the design of the can is miserable. It is not available here except in Beer-Boxes.
