Venator Kinjo Fanart || Splinterlands Art Contest Week 260. (ENG/ESP)

Today I want to share with you my new drawing for the weekly Splinterlands community contest.
For this occasion I used as inspiration the character of Venator Kinjo, this is a Neutral type character. I liked this character because of his appearance, which is a bit similar to the monks, only this would be a demonic version of him hahaha. His facial expression of fury, the white eyes and the red mark on his forehead caught my attention. For this drawing I used a technique that I don't usually use, wefts with fine tip markers, I used this technique since I was a little tired of colors and watercolors hehehe. And I used especially the color red for the elements that required it. Next I will leave you the drawing process.
Step by step:
First I choose the pose I'm going to use, then I define the facial features and elements of her body and clothing. I wanted to add several more red marks on her head, this to fill more space and because it gave her a very cool style.
Now it was time to outline the character. I used mostly the two markers numbers 08 and 05 to outline the drawing. For the parts like the beard, eyebrows and edges of the sleeves of the character's robe I used the thick tip marker to fill those spaces more easily.
Now with the red color I drew the marks on her head, the collar and the belt she wears around her waist.
Here I start using the wefts. For the darker areas I use marker number 08, using very close and dense lines so that the area will be filled and will show good contrast. Then I use the number marker for the shadows of the remaining fingers and to fill in a large part of the hand. With the markers number 03 and 01 I make more separated lines for the side where more light reaches the hand. With the marker number 05 and 03 I made the weft of the left sleeve of the robe, here I use many lines without darkening the areas too much.
Now with the marker number 05 I start shading the upper part of the head creating more contrast and darkness, bringing it along the right edge and illuminating a little more in the center of the face by the nose and the left side of the head. Then with the marker number 03 I created a few shadow lines on the spheres that make her necklace. Then following a little bit the steps of the other sleeve, I used the markers number 08, 05, 03 and 01 for that part of the sleeve, where I used the marker number 08 and 05 for the strongest shadows and 03 for the inner shadows. Being a white fabric I had to make its shadows not so strong to keep a little bit that essence of the white color, that's why I also use a lot the marker number 03, these lines would come out very thin and would create a good contrast without much darkness.
Now with marker number 03 and 01 finish making the wefts of the robe at the top.
Since the pants are a darker shade, I would use marker number 08 and 05 and finish the garment.
And to finish, I would use marker number 08 to create some loops, and then use marker number 03 to create some more fill lines.

Hoy quiero compartir con vosotros mi nuevo dibujo para el concurso semanal de la comunidad de Splinterlands.
Esta vez me he inspirado en el personaje de Venator Kinjo, un personaje de tipo Neutral. Me gustó este personaje por su apariencia, que recuerda un poco a la de los monjes, sólo que ésta es una versión demoníaca de él, jajaja. Me llamó la atención su expresión de enfado, los ojos blancos y la marca roja en la frente. Para este dibujo utilicé una técnica que no suelo emplear, dibujar con rotuladores finos. Utilicé esta técnica porque estaba un poco cansada de colores y acuarelas, jejeje. Y utilicé principalmente el color rojo para los elementos que necesitaban. A continuación os muestro el proceso de dibujo.
Paso a paso:
Primero elijo la pose que voy a utilizar, luego defino los rasgos faciales y los elementos de su cuerpo y ropa. Quise añadirle unas manchas rojas en la cabeza para crear más espacio y darle un estilo chulo.
Ahora era el momento de esbozar la figura. Utilicé principalmente los dos rotuladores numerados 08 y 05 para perfilar el dibujo. Para las partes como la barba, las cejas y los bordes de las mangas de la túnica de la figura, utilicé el rotulador con la punta gruesa para rellenar estas zonas más fácilmente.
Ahora utilicé la pintura roja para dibujar las marcas de la cabeza, el cuello y el cinturón que lleva en la cintura.
Aquí empiezo con los hilos de la trama. Para las zonas más oscuras utilizo el marcador del número 08, utilizando líneas muy apretadas y densas para que la zona quede rellena y tenga un buen contraste. Después utilizo el marcador del número para las sombras del resto de los dedos y para rellenar gran parte de la mano. Con los rotuladores número 03 y 01 hago líneas más separadas para el lado donde llega más luz a la mano. Con los marcadores número 05 y 03 hice el plano de la manga izquierda de la túnica, aquí utilizo muchas líneas sin oscurecer demasiado las zonas.
Con el marcador numero 05 empiezo ahora a sombrear la parte superior de la cabeza, creando mas contraste y oscuridad llevandolo por el borde derecho y aclarando un poco mas en el centro de la cara por la nariz y el lado izquierdo de la cabeza. Después utilicé el rotulador número 03 para crear algunas líneas de sombra en las esferas que forman su collar. Después seguí un poco los pasos de la otra manga y utilicé los rotuladores número 08, 05, 03 y 01 para esa parte de la manga, utilizando los rotuladores número 08 y 05 para las sombras más fuertes y el 03 para las sombras interiores. Como se trata de una tela blanca, no necesitaba hacer las sombras tan fuertes para mantener un poco la esencia del color blanco. Por eso también utilicé mucho el rotulador número 03, estas líneas saldrían muy finas y crearían un buen contraste sin mucha oscuridad.
Los marcadores 03 y 01 se utilizan ahora para terminar las tramas de la túnica en la zona superior.
Como el pantalón es de un tono más oscuro, utilizaría los marcadores 08 y 05 y terminaría la prenda.
Y para terminar, usaría el marcador número 08 para crear algunos bucles, y después usaría el marcador número 03 para crear algunas líneas más de relleno.
