Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!


This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.


Why Mischievous?

We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.

  1. Start my own business
  2. Try to understand different cultures (not just the surface but truely understand them)
  3. Get a pet for my girlfriend (If you would ever read this, I know you want one, it will eventually be there! <3)
  4. Learn to code (used to study IT, but wasn't motivated at the time)
  5. Continue enjoying life (Probably the most important one of all)

I like your goals and I think they are achievable, fulfill your girlfriend's dream that is the best gift of all, plus it will also be a gift for you because you will love it.

When I set goals, I always try to let them be achievable, with some challenge in them as well.

I know, will definitely do it but seen the current situation, it's not that easy to get a cat / dog. Should become possible in the coming years though.

It's hard to narrow it down to 5 things I'd like to do before I kick the bucket, but I think I'd be satisfied with these 5.

  1. Almost everyone likes the idea of perpetuating the species and leaving someone in this world who shares our genes. I think having a son or daughter is one of those scary, yet comforting things.

  2. I am a man of science and as a good man of science I would like to be able to go down in history contributing with an advance that benefits society. To be able to discover or help discover a drug to eradicate a deadly disease would be one of the things I would like to achieve.

  3. Photography is one of my passions. Photographs from the top of the highest mountains in the world are a true wonder. However, my physical and economic capacity does not allow me to reach those peaks. But without hesitation, being able to be on the roof of the world would be one of those things I would like to do before I die.

  4. Recover old friendships. Over the years I have lost contact with many friends because they are from other countries and I do not have their phone, email and I have not been able to locate them through social networks. To recover the contact to know how they are and to be able to recover lost time is one of those things that I would like to achieve.

  1. History is one of my passions. To be able to visit one of the cradles of civilization such as Egypt and its pyramids is a dream I would like to fulfill before I kick the bucket.

The top 5 items in my on my bucket list are;

  1. I want to send my junior sister abroad (to either United States or Canada) before the end of 2024. This is her dream, and i want to help her achieve it.

  2. In the coming years, I want to get married, have kids (preferably, 2 boys and two girls) and live happily thereafter with them.

  3. Own a big stake on hive. (Big enough that the curratial reword can pay my everyday bills).
    This is a long time goal, I have started small already, I hope to build it over the years, that in about 10-20 years time, I would have achieved this goal.

  4. Be self reliant enough to travel to any holiday destination of choice (world over) at least once a year with my wife and kids.

  5. I want to retire as a travel blogger. By so doing, I will be retired and still be doing things i love doing even as I earn money.

● I would love a solo trip.
● a complete day off from the kitchen.
● would like to take my parents for a
Long outing.
● Need to travel if time and money
permits.
● I would like to turn my hobbies like,
knitting and tailoring, to profession.

My Top 5 Bucket List

  • Travel the world without destination and without worries
  • Taste different oriental and Asian cuisines
  • Ride a Musk-style rocket
  • Enjoy the best cinema experience in the world, whatever it is (I think it's Imax)
  • Repeat the previous experience that I like the most :D

5 Bucket list

  1. Get financial Freedom and independence so I can make my parents and family life smoother.
  2. Perform Hajj (religious obligation of Muslims) with family.
  3. Do some good deeds like helping others for sake of God.
  4. Getting married 😜 and have kids 😍
  5. Ask forgiveness for my sins and to those who I consciously and unconsciously hurt.
