Qurator's Mischievous Mondays | Time Capsule Tales

MM.png

Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!

This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.

Why Mischievous?

We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.

This week's theme : Time Capsule Tales

What item would you put in a time capsule to be opened in 500 years, and what would it tell about our time?

I would add an album with pictures of different objects / places / persons / moments in time.
Under the motto: A picture tells more than a thousand words!

Nowadays we use technology to draw images of ancient nations but I think it would be amazing if we could have real pictures instead of simulations.

Hi,

I would introduce my photography set.

I hope that you can still load the camera and if there is no device to play the card you can still see the pictures of what was the world today in the 21st century.

With pollution, wars, etc, I suspect the world will be very different and many of nature's jewels will have been destroyed by human idiocy.

Regards.

I have many things which I would love to preserve for that long, one of it will be pictures of many present things now, like money, buildings and lots more because they will become so scarce and the young generation will now be hearing about them, without being able to see or touch them. I can also keep some of them.

Some delicacies which are slowly fading away needs to also be in this capsule. Would have loved to keep some the gadgets but it seems that with time things are improving so much better.

Memories in the form of Album like the swing, street foods, children playing in parks and beaches, togetherness of young and old by playing games, sharing and caring for eachother. . After 500 years, nothing of such will be in existence as technology will take over, where the young and old be confined in a room with their gadgets.
This would definitely be a sad reality.
