Qurator's Mischievous Mondays | Stuck at Sea

Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!

This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.

Why Mischievous?

We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.

This week's theme : Stuck at Sea

You find yourself adrift on a tiny raft in the middle of the ocean, with only the most basic supplies to sustain you. The endless expanse of water stretches in all directions, with no sign of land or rescue. As you grapple with the reality that this journey might be your final adventure, think about how you would cope with the situation. How would you spend your days and nights?

I would gamify the situation. As I treat a lot of situations as a gme in my life.
I would challenge myself to survive as long as possible. Creating a plan: what do I have as material, how much food / drinkable water do I have.
Every 7days would be an achievement and I will 'celebrate' by something tasteful or fun I could do.

In essence I would try to think as practical as possible: how to fish (for food), how to collect rain (to drink), how could I get some sleep, etc.

I live by the idea that everything will be alright sooner or later, so I will hit land / being rescued!

Thank you very much for the award, happy week.

Answer: I don't think that in that situation I would be calm and thinking logically, I think I would act like that:

First I would think about the bad thing I did to deserve such a punishment, after crying and screaming and reproaching my luck, I would start thinking about everything that was my life, from my first memory to the last, I would stop for sure in the happy, painful and the best sex moments 🤣🙊🙈.

That's how I would spend my days but I would also look for a way to leave a message inside a bottle, something that if found would indicate that I was there, it could be an accessory, earrings, something that identifies me, I can think of my dentures 😅 it would be great a message on paper and I would write "cruel world you forgot about me" I will come back like a tsunami so you don't forget me" hehehehehehehehehehehe just kidding.

I would write: life is beautiful enjoy it by loving.

Firstly, congrats to all the winners. Thankyou @qurator

The situation is definitely scary especially when one is alone at the ocean.
The first day might be very scary when you see nobody at your vicinity. I think most of us will shout and scream at the top of your voice. Even if we feel hungry and thirsty we won't feel like eating. Sitting in the raft we just wait for any spark of relief, impatiently.

This same thing will continue for day 2 and may be for day 3.

But after the 3 rd day, to keep ourselves hydrated we start taking the little food and water left with us.

Finally as each day pass by and chances of survival become less,, we increase our prayers for some miracle to take place. And even after that if no sign of rescue, we slowly become bold enough to face whatever is stored for us.

Hope none of us face such situations.

If supplies are not a concern, there would be infinite time to reflect on the insignificance of human life on Earth. The wind, the Sea, the Sun and the Night would be the guides so that each movement of nature would lead to a new discovery. The details would be noticed. The variations in the colors of the sea, the movement of the tides. The stars in the sky and their slow movement at night. What would seem like "a big nothing" would be perceived by the small details of an unexplored world.
