Qurator's Mischievous Mondays | Lost in a Book

Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!

This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.

Why Mischievous?

We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.

This week's theme : Lost in a Book

If you could live in any book's world, which one would it be and why?

I have always seen myself living a life that is not dictated by the colour of my skin, gender, race, or religious beliefs. Therefore, I would like to live in Buchi Emecheta's 'Second-Class Citizen,' in the character of Adah, whose resilience and doggedness in the face of societal injustice inspire me.

Also, to live in her world, where strength, perseverance, and determination prevail, is the kind of world I have chosen to live in.

No matter the shitty things a person goes through in life, when they get money, they tend to more or less forget those hard times and live like there is no tomorrow. They tend to spend extravagantly without thinking of the next day, week or month. They tend not to think - what if this money finishes? What will be my fate?

This has always been the mindset of poor and middle class people. Spend, live lavishly, but the biggest and most expensive things, get the most beautiful chicks in town and live life to the fullest.

Though enjoying their life, they tend to forget that life always happens. When life hits and they go back to square 1, they tend to have some sense at this moment. But, when another money touches their hands, they go back to the previous lifestyle..

I was once this type of person who cared less about anything but living big even though my "cash flow" was not up to my lifestyle. I spent more than I earned which always made me go back to square 1.

Well, this happened until I read two books from Robert Kiyosaki - Rich dad poor dad and the cashflow quadrant.

If I am given an opportunity to live in a book, I will not want to live in one book, but three. not at once though. Haha.

The first book I will love to live in is the rich dad poor dad. I will love to witness first hand, the stories that Robert Kiyosaki told about himself. First hand experience always helps with a good elevation ya'know.

The next book I will love to live in after the rich dad poor dad is the cashflow quadrant.
Understanding cashflow has helped me a lot in terms in terms of my financial lifestyle. I understand quite a lot. However, to perfect my knowledge, living in the book will not be a bad idea.

Having all these knowledge without having the composure and perfect quality to manage it and people within will not grant you many success in life. However, I will want to live in "The laws of Power" after I live in these two books.

In the world of business and financial freedom, there is bound to be manipulation and other things. To get what you need, you must be able to both convince and confuse to your gain. This is why the law of power comes to play.

If given the opportunity, these are the three books I will love to live in. Though they are more books I will love to live in, but I think these are the ones worthy of being shared.

Thank you. Hehe

Ad oh, congratulations to the winners 💖

As a typical Taurus who loves food, comfort, and sensory pleasures, there is no doubt that if I had to live inside a book, it would be a cookbook. Just imagine living in a universe where each page transforms into a delicious feast, with wonderful flavors of freshly baked bread, richly filled and decorated cakes, and gourmet dishes that would captivate me at every moment. Honestly, it would be a true gastronomic paradise, and just thinking about it makes my mouth water.

Living in a cookbook would give me unlimited access to fresh and exotic ingredients. I could explore the cuisines of different cultures and countries...

Honestly, it would be a true gastronomic paradise, and just thinking about it makes my mouth water. It would be a dream to live in a place where each day begins and ends with a new and delicious culinary adventure.

Wow, choosing to live in a book is a very difficult topic, I have read more than 1000 works throughout my life. Even faced with so many options, I made a classic choice: live in the book of Dungeons and Dragons adventures.

Being able to live in a medieval fantasy world would be a dream, exploring dungeons, being an adventurer, defeating monsters, casting spells and meeting mythological creatures like dragons, makes me choose to live in the book of Dungeons and dragons. A world with infinite possibilities, full of mysteries and a completely unexpected destiny and future. One moment you can face a horde of goblins and the next you are fighting for your life with a dragon, wow, it's a lot of adrenaline, it makes me shake with emotion when imagining such a situation.

For a long time, I played RPG, a real experience in the face of adventures and dungeons is a perfect multiverse.
