Loh #153: What the next 5 years hold ~ My evolution of Hive.

As long as Hive exist, I will still be here. If Hive wants to go another 10 years, of course, we are moving together because I don't see the reason for leaving this big opportunity that has opened its way in my life; may God spare our lives till then. I have been following up with the Leofinance team and how they have been working tirelessly to build more projects for users on Hive to utilise and take advantage of. Same with many communities building projects on Hive because they believe in the long term rather than closing up unexpectedly. This has helped me to envision the future of Hive and what impact it would have on the world as a Web3 blockchain.

I have been on Hive for more than 2 years and in a few months, I will be celebrating my third year on the platform. Hive is a blessing to a lot of us here and it's such a pity that many people I met here have gone for different reasons, which I can't blame them for. They have their choice while I have chosen to stick with Hive until it says it is enough. I have enjoyed a lot of benefits here and built a wonderful relationship with sweet people. Every day, I keep showing up here just to remain consistent and build my account.

Recently, I have been excited because my account will start to grow more than it is now. This is because I will be going for my one-year National Youth Service Corps soon and my plan is not to always withdraw as much as I have been doing since I would be getting a monthly allowance from the federal and state government. So with this, the way I withdraw here would reduce while I try to build my account, saving and investing for my future. It is not about the money for me anymore but the wonderful information I have been getting just to take my account to a higher level. I do not miss showing up daily so that I would find updates which could better my life.

Okay, I already answered the first part of the question which I stated in the first paragraph. Let's move on to the second part of it.

How would my Hive portfolio look like then?

For my HIVE Power:

I remembered getting a notification from Hivebuzz two months ago of how I have earned more than 6000 Hive Power since I started on Hive. Presently, I have 3620 HP. If not that I had not powered down to settle my responsibilities, it would have been more than that now. So, imagine earning over 6k HP in two years and a half, looking at five years to come, I should be close to or have gotten to over 30,000 Hive Power. I am being intentional in my growth on this platform and for every day I keep coming here, I wish to have enough Hive Power to support small accounts and also help me keep getting higher curation rewards.

For my HBD (Hive Backed Dollar)

Right now, I don't have much and the ones I have at the moment are for my savings to help cover up my expenses for my Nysc so that I could settle down before getting serious with another savings which wouldn't keep prompting me to withdraw every time since I would be getting an allowance and also managing myself in spending. So, for the next five years, I want to see myself owning like 5000 $HBD in savings, maybe I could own more but that's my target for now.

For my LEO token

This is the native token in the Leofinance community which I have come to love since I joined last year October. I started powering up $LEO tokens in November through the Leo Power Up Day which happens every month and right now, I have 4800 Leo and I will be achieving my target of 5k next month. This means I was able to achieve 5k Leo Power in less than a year. In the next 5 years, I should have achieved 30,000 Leo Power or even more. My focus on the Hive Engine tokens most especially is on Leo and I believe to get there then.

Also, other Hive Engine tokens I would be working on alongside are:

I hope to have a larger quantity of these tokens in my wallet as my passive income. I believe by then, my account would have grown to a reasonable amount of tokens, knowing that my future in financial wealth is stable.
