Hello again, everyone! I'm back with another contest. This week is a simple one: share something that gave you hope!

I've been feeling angry and frustrated and horrified and helpless a lot lately, given, you know, 🍉 🍉 what's going on in the world , 🍉 🍉 so please share something that gave you hope this week, in a post or a comment (if a post, share the link in the comments). Do this before this post pays out. Yuan will judge the humans and decide the winner!

I was going to swap some of my tokens as a first timer. I then mistakenly transferred the token to a wrong non existent account. I have been up trying to see if I can retrieve it but it's a dead end. Hurt quite a lot 😅 but then if there's one thing I have learned to make me feel better is accepting situations I cannot control, look a remedy and forge ahead because remaining in a sad place has never fixed anything.

I was robbed sometime ago and all the money I had was gone. I got a new phone and started hustling again so I can regain the business money I have lost. I’m now close to my target so I’m hopeful

A local church has set up a breakfast club for families on the way to school. It's very busy, mums meet each other, dads have started coming, the children enjoy playing after they've eaten (the grown-ups will keep chatting 😂). The whole thing is run on donations and volunteers. Anyone can call in and eat, it's free and inclusive, no one is turned away.

Everyone that enters the contest, I put their name on a piece of paper. I put treats on the paper, whichever one Yuan eats first wins.
Alternatively, if there are a lot of entries, I put the papers in a bag with catnip, and whoever he pulled out first, won.

I have been struggling with my mental health lately, I have been trying hard to keep myself afloat but I have been worried and stressed out. My finances are messy, to put it nicely, and I am a single mom. So it was a matter of time it would start eroding my sanity.
But a couple of nights ago It came to me the possibility to invest in some craft supplies to resell them. The hope to start a small business is giving me a ray of hope and I'm excited to do so. Maybe next week I'll be working on that and it has calmed me a lot. I know it is a small start but at least I feel everything will be alright 🤞🏻
