It's another Friday solely for #marketfriday engagement which was initiated by @dswigle. Today being Friday gives everyone the opportunity to start up a weekend and share whatsoever we all engage in.

WHERE I VISITED THE FEED STORE?

Where I visited today was a feed store, though a newly opened and established business feed store that's basically deals in selling only one particular feed for broiler Birds. The name of the feed is NewHope feed for birds. They don't sell any other products other than Newhope feed. If I am not mistaken, this place is the only place the Newhope feed is sold in my local government. Originally, they sell varieties of feed for different stages or weeks of birds plus feed for layers birds too. Then another reason for my shipping at the feed store was to make enquiry and have knowledge about the Newhope feed because it's my first of making use of the feed to rear my birds.

They have feed in different categories, starter feed, starter pellet, starter mash, grower mostly given layers birds. Moreso, the most amazing thing is the color of sacks of each of the feed for packaging the feeds are different, there are one with yellow colour, I mean the sack. And there are some with green color. I guess the reason for this is for buyers to be able to recognize the type and kind of feeds they want to buy. There are also code for buying the if you are someone who only has interest in buying with the code but mostly people order for the feeds according to their colour.

The reason why I visited this place is to get feed for my 2 weeks old broiler birds. And the category I am buying is NewHope starter mash with yellow sack and coded 510. There is 510T and there is 511 but still under starter feed for chicks they are in categories. After I made enquiry from their customer service to know about the feed because it's my first time using the feeds unlike the ultimate feed that I am familiar with already.

Finally, I bought 5 bags of the Newhope feeds each at the price of #9,250($22) per one which like $110 for the 5 bags. When I made payment via bank transfer, the alert was received. I was assisted by the loader working in the feed store to help me load the feeds into the my boot of the car. I really enjoy their customer service and it wasn't stressful for me shopping feeds for my broiler birds. Such a great memory.

I wanted to see the growth or size of two weeks old broiler chicks. How much time they need to have to be a complete hen?

Life of a chicken breeder. How long does it take, from when you get your chicks(how old are they?) and when they go to market? What do you think you spend on them and what would be the expected bottom line per chick?

Then: Once you sell them, how long before you get another henhouse full?

Glad it seems to be going well for you! #MarketFriday thanks you for your participation!
