We are here again with #marketfriday initiated and created by an amiable and industrious Woman @dswgle. This platform has reason given almost everybody the opportunity to post their visit to the #market and show things they have purchased.

My post today on #marketfriday hadls to do with my Aunty's car. The reason why I had to go to the market was that, one of the car tyres needs replacement. The car tyre is getting damaged and getting flat due to the bad roads we have here. Mostly, it's car tyres that suffer it most. If you really want to enjoy driving here, you have to be visiting engineer in-charge of straighten and setting the alignment of the car because the car get busy everyday. What we really need is a popular "Tokunbo" spear tyre because the new ones are just super expensive here and while looking for the brand new ones, you might end up buying the fake new that may not even last more than 2 months. That's why people mostly indulge in buying the "Tokunbo" ones. So from home, I had to go to my usual Vulcanizer who's always in-charge of assisting me gaging the tyres and repairs the car tyres when they get punctured by nails or other sharp objects. From his shop we took a short trip to the popular area in Ilorin called "Taiwo-Isale", we have "Taiwo-Oke" too where mostly electronics are sold. The "Taiwo-Isale" is where you can get anything pertaining to cars and other things.

On getting to the place, we packed in front a shop that sells the size of the tyres(15size) we are looking for. It's Tokunbo, that is what we can afford right now. After series of checks and assessment by my vulcanizer. We finally got what we wanted at the rate of #10,000($23).I Made payment via mobile transfer. We picked our good and headed back to his shop. I mean the vulcanizer's shop.

AT HIS WORKSHOP.

Finally, on getting to his shop, he got things started by removing the almost damaged from the car and replace it with the new "Tokunbo" tyre. When he changed it, he had to refill the tyre with airs from his engine placed by the roadside of the main Street. That will serve as a sign board.

FIXING THE NEW "TOKUNBO" TYRE.

After he filled the tyre with enough air and gaged. He went to replaced the tyre with the new "Tokunbo" tyre to the car. At least it will serve us for minimum of 6months with constant visit to alignment workshop.

I'm glad you found a good one :) Is alignment expensive there?

It surely take a lots of time and efforts. Tyres are so heavy to carry.

I feel so bad for your aunt! A couple of weeks ago I think you had an alignment done on her car! There seems to be no end to the money train to keeping that car running, is there?

I am happy that she is able to get it done for a reasonable price. I wonder how much she spends a year on the car? Have you ever added it up? I cannot remember what the cost of the alignment was. I hope it is reasonable!

Thanks so much for being a part of #MarketFriday!
