Heineken: A Champion Beer

avatar

Heineken is one of the most popular Beer for many years. A Beer that has been in existence for over 150 years and still counting. A Beer that witnessed the world war 1 and world war ii. A Beer that stood the test of time and still very relevant till date. Heineken is more than a Beer, one of the major sponsors of the UEFA Champions League. A beer in a greenish can / bottle with a red star. If I am to continue the eulogy for this pale larger Beer it won't end. This is because it is just a great Beer. The 5% alcohol by volume is another sensational attribute. It can be take during meal or after meal and during date with partner too this is because the color can fit all events and locations.

I am glad that @detlev introduced #BeerSaturday. This has made me have a good taste of several beer and instead of just sticking to one I have more that five different Beers that can fit into several events.

Some of my friends criticised my drinking Beer with a Mug instead of a glass 🍺 but trust me no matter what container you use in consuming your beer it doesn't affect the taste, neither does it affect the quality.

It is boldly printed in sign

  1. Drink responsibly
  2. Do not drink and drive: If you must drink do not drive, if you must drive do not drink
  3. No for pregnant women
  4. Strictly for age 18 and above.

That's not actually true :) There are resons for drinking beer from the suitable glass, see this article.

On the bright side, a canned Heineken cannot get much worse poured into a mug :))

Very informative article (link). And I was wondering why some beers just don't "smell" in my glass
