Garden sales exhibition
"Botanical" articles, i.e. with photos of various plants and flowers, I post here quite often. And this one is no exception. It's just a bit different.
These are not wild plants and flowers, but cultivated or even bred ones. I mean, I was at the garden and horticultural exhibition "FLOREXPO".
And no, I'm not a gardener or grower. The only purpose of this visit of mine was to take pictures and make an article for you.
"Botanické" články, tj. s fotkami nejrůznějších rostlin a květin, tady postuju celkem často. A ani tento není výjimkou. Jenže je trochu jiný.
Tohle nejsou divoce rostoucí rostliny a květiny, ale pěstované nebo dokonce šlechtěné. Totiž byl jsem na zahradní a zahradnické výstavě "FLOREXPO".
A ne, nejsem žádný zahradník a pěstitel. Jediným účelem této mojí návštěvy bylo nafotit fotky a udělat článek.

Are a large number of gardeners, growers and cottage gardeners in our nation. And actually, why not - it's a good thing.
Nicméně, nezalitoval jsem. I když zrovna tento artikl není "šálek mého čaje", tak záplavy nejrůznějších květin a rostlin, od kaktusů až po ovocné stromy, mě zaujaly. A všiml jsem si i relativně velkého zájmu veřejnosti. To, že je v našem národě velké množství zahrádkářů, pěstitelů a chalupářů. A vlastně, proč ne - je to dobře.
The exhibition wasn't solely focused on sales as it also featured accompanying exhibitions. For instance, there was a demonstration showcasing the art of arrangement and a stand hosted by a wedding agency. Even gardeners can find love and perhaps growing together can even foster interpersonal relationships.
Nešlo jen o prodej - součástí výstavy byly i doprovodné expozice. Například ukázka velkolepého aranžérského umění nebo třeba stánek svatební agentury. Láska se nevyhýbá ani zahrádkářům, ba možná společné pěstitelství dokonce podporuje mezilidské vztahy.
In the right garden, you can't miss a gnome, and in the right exhibition, you can't miss a stand with gingerbread hearts and juju candies.
Na správné zahradě nemůže chybět trpaslík a na správné výstavě nemůže chybět stánek s perníkovými srdci a žužu cukrovinkami.
Of course, the artists from Prague will bring in the necessary glamour to such an event.
