~Sterilization and Husband deciding for Wife ~ | My Answers |

In this week's contest, LOH asked about the two questions you would ask if you were the judge.
I found @noalys 's questions worth responding to in a separate post.
Her questions are as follows -

Do you agree with female sterilization in young women, yes or no? Justify your reasons.

AND/OR

What do you think about the medical policy that husbands should decide about their wife's body even if she doesn't agree?

I sincerely hope you take some time to read this.

Sterilization in young women?
Yes, especially if abortion is illegal in a country then what options are women left with? (By women I don't mean teenagers.)
You become more like animals if you have children before being emotionally and financially prepared.
It's on the woman if she wants to get sterilized after having a child or having no children at all.

Let's accept that the majority of women experience a downturn in their jobs after becoming mothers.
We are surely not a breeding machine.
Let's say you are sterilized and want to be a mother later in life, adoption is still open for you.

If sterilization can prevent you from forced motherhood then there's no wrong.

Medical policy about husband deciding on wife's body
I think you should not marry in the first place if you are not on the same page about having children.

Definitely, women should have the right to their bodies. If the man still wants children against her will then the relationship cannot work.
Honestly, I don't think there is any love involved here.
It is just a relationship approved by law. Would you not want someone you love to do something meaningful in life?

If someone is deciding these things for you out of his own selfish motives to carry his genetic material forward then he is not your husband but an owner.
You need to free yourself from his slavery.

A beautiful relationship can only be between two independent individuals who want to see each other succeed and whose love is not affected by distance.

About the surgical part, you need to do what's best for you. Both spouses should have the right to decide for each other only in case of an emergency.

Thank you @noalys I enjoyed answering these thoughtful questions.

Your answers have quite valid arguments, highlighting the part that women are not baby making machines and that after having children there are less job opportunities and if you don't have a good job how do you give a good quality of life to your children?

We must find a life partner who walks in our same direction in terms of family planning as well.

On the other hand, our body is our sacred temple and we should choose everything that is done on it as long as it does not harm us and is for our benefit.
