Monomad challenge - BW - Wednesday walk

Title: BW - Wednesday walk

One more gloomy, chilly, and rainy winter's day. You can feel the snow coming, but it doesn't fall—it only occasionally mists, which will just make you more irritated. The leaves drop rapidly after a few cold nights. A few leaves still resist the wind and the cold and defy the season.

The only lush trees are the evergreens.

During the walk to the lake, I mostly observed and photographed the trees. Until I finally reached the water. But even in the water, the branches and treetops were reflected.

There are just one duck and one mute swan floating in the lake.

Although a juvenile wood or mandarin duck is uncommon in these parts, it may have escaped since it is usually kept as an attractive bird.

Maybe it will snow next Wednesday...
