Monomad challenge - BW - snails

I'm participating in the #monomad challenge with this post.

Title: BW - snails

Compared to past years, there were a lot more snails this year. I'm not sure if their survival is due to the favorable weather or the lack of predators. But for my taste, there were just too many. Luckily, they avoided the veggies in the garden, because the majority of them were in the long grass and bushes in the northern portion of the yard behind the house. During very hot summer days, I most often found them on various plants at a certain height. They could also be seen on houses and various artificial objects.
