Monomad challenge - BW - Morning walk

Title: BW - Morning walk

We moved to the city a few days ago. The whole process of moving and finding an apartment went very quickly and painlessly. We're still collecting impressions, but overall, we're very pleased. The previous life in the city for a few months was not ideal. Life in the countryside too. A year passed very quickly, and all sorts of things happened in our lives. We finally woke up with a smile. We sometimes drink our morning coffee on the terrace, and this is the view from it.

Today we went for a morning walk to the lake. Considering that we are on the very edge of the pedestrian zone of the city center, everything is close to us. The lake is about two kilometers away, and we can reach it through the streets or the pedestrian zone of the town square.
We decided to bypass the square and walk through the streets to get there.
Graffiti and advertising materials can often be seen on the walls.

The smell of roasted coffee wafts through this intersection. We decided to continue even though the smell was so strong and enticing.

There are no very tall buildings in the city, and the tallest has nine floors. Really ugly building, I would say.

Just before the turn to the lake, a gray cat stands guard.

The lake is located in a large park with deciduous trees, mainly oak, which is surrounded by a canal.

After walking around the lake, we headed to another park not far from this location. There, we sat on a bench and spent some time enjoying ourselves.
