Tales of an onboarder: The difficulties faced.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. Every hive user must have felt how good the hive platform is and does not want to enjoy all the goodies that come with the platform alone, so they preach about hive wherever they find themselves. Well, I am one of those users. I preach hive everywhere I go, for it's the best place to be, and no other platform beats the hive platform for me. Having fun while you earn is the best way to go about earning, and that's what hive do, so why do you want to enjoy all that alone?

The hive platform is like a world of its own and big enough to accommodate us all, so why hide it from other people? You stand to gain nothing when you hide such an amazing platform and updates from people. The more people join the platform, the bigger the family becomes, so if you have not been preaching hive, start doing that today. No matter how busy my schedule for the day is, I visit the hive platform at intervals just to see what I am missing, and if I fail to do that, I feel incomplete. Once I open my browser, you hear people asking about the platform, and all you have to do is explain to them how it works and go ahead to create an account for those interested, but nothing breaks my heart more than onboarding someone who ends up leaving or not taking the platform seriously.

It's discouraging when you remember how hard it was for you to convince a person to join, and when they finally do, you spend hours helping them navigate through the platform only for them to trash all your efforts by leaving. As an onboarder, you must be ready for all kinds of questions; even the ones you least expect will surely come your way. Over the years, I have onboarded quite a lot of people and faced lots of difficulties.

The Doubters.

There are certain people who believe every online platform that pays is a Ponzi scheme and never should be trusted. For that reason, they see Hive as the same thing, and when you tell them about the platform, they in turn try to criticize the platform and make you feel like you are pushing them into a trap. In situations like this, you have to start sharing testimonies, and from your testimonies, many of them see the platform as a get rich-quick scheme and rush to join.

Those who rushed to join because they feel it's a get rich-quick kind of platform.

Like I said earlier, some rush to join after you share your testimony with them, and they feel that the moment they step in, they will earn the same as you, but if they don't see it coming, they start feeling like you lied to get them on board, which is not so. I was like that too, but I saw that the platform had other benefits aside from the rewards.

What I have learned on my onboarding quest.

  • Let them know the platform is not a get rich-quick scheme.

  • They should not come for the reward, as that way, if the rewards don't start coming, they tend to leave.

Thanks for reading my post.

Truely hive is not a get rich quick platform as many assume it to be. I have also met those who tell me that all online thing is a Ponzi scheme but no its not.

Good people will join with time
