HEALER TRAITS OF THE OCEAN FEMALE | HEALER TRAITS CONTEST

Greetings to the Holozing Community! Ones again I am Noblebright, presenting my second entry for the HEALER TRAITS CONTEST of the HOLOZING COMMUNITY. The subject of my art is the Healer of the Ocean, Female. As we near the end of the month of LOVE, February, I'd like to share my new idea for the HEALER TRAITS OF THE OCEAN FEMALE. Since February celebrates Valentine's day on the 14th, I chose the theme of LOVE for my art haha. Enough with the story, join me as I walk you through how I created and developed my idea.

REFERENCE USED
For the sketch, I searched for references on Google, but I couldn't find anything that fit on my idea, I based my reference on the images from the Holozing Contest. I used the IBISPAINTX APP using my phone for the drawing, taking advantage of the free character poses available there. Starting with the first layer, I sketched and duplicated it onto the second layer for a clean outline using the DIP PEN (HARD). Once the sketch was clean, I added a ribbon around the neck and flowers with ribbons for the headband. Since the theme of my drawing is Valentine's, it's as if my art is meeting her significant other.After the sketch, I added base color on a new layer using the BUCKET PAINT. Once the base color was applied, I added shadows, followed by coloring and detailing the hair and face.

Using the AIRBRUSH on a separate layer, I added color and details to the neck ribbon, headband, and earrings. I didn't merge them into one layer immediately to add shadows. Next in coloring and detailing were her attire and bag. Continuing with the airbrush, I carefully reviewed and adjusted the colors and details of my art. I added hearts and made her clothing pink with shades of red.
