Good morning ladies, I extend a big virtual hug to all of you, today I will share with you my entry for this week:
- What are you most passionate about in life?
There are so many things I am passionate about in life like reading a good book, writing because it is my way of venting all my experiences and feelings, cooking the most delicious recipes and eating them of course, drinking a strong coffee, being with my family and creating beautiful moments, it is quite difficult to choose one, but if I have to choose among my passions it would be travel because I know new places and I disconnect for a moment from my daily routine that is a bit exhausting most of the time.
Traveling to the beach, jungle or mountain is a good way to connect with nature, enjoy its landscapes, its diversity of flora and fauna depending on the place, and in the cities to be able to make a transfer to the past through its culture, heritage and religion that should never be forgotten as citizens is a way to have a sense of belonging for what is ours, I also enjoy meeting new people that also leave their comfort zone to have an adventure like me.
Traveling generates happiness, satisfaction and a desire to continue traveling to new destinations that has no comparison.
- What is your favorite holiday of the year and why?
My favorite celebration of the year is November 18, the day in which the city of Maracaibo dresses up to celebrate its patron saint, the Virgin of the Rosary of Chiquinquira, also lovingly called "La Chinita".
The story goes that an old lady found the little board on the shores of the lake, she took it home to cover the jars where she had her clothes as she made a living washing other people's clothes, one day she felt that they were knocking on her door when she realized that there was no one, She looked towards the little board which was covered with light and the image of the Chinita appeared with the company of two saints San Andres and San Antonio, years later this portrait became a source of devotion for the people of Marabí and to whom she is credited for her intercession in miracles and favors granted.
The little board is located in the Basilica Nuestra Señora del Rosario Chiquinquirá where not only Zulianos visit her on her day but also parishioners from different parts of the country to pay homage to her, it is one of the traditions that makes me feel very happy to have been born in this state, when I am in her temple in front of her image it fills me with tranquility because I feel that I am protected by her in every moment of my life, I will always venerate my Chinita.

Buenos días lindas damas, les extiendo un fuerte abrazo virtual para todas, hoy les compartiré mi entrada para esta semana:
1. ¿Qué es lo que más te apasiona de la vida?
Son tantas cosas las que me apasionan de la vida como leer un buen libro, escribir porque es mi manera de desahogar todas mis vivencias y sentimientos, cocinar las recetas más deliciosas y comerlas por supuesto, tomar un café bien cargado, estar con mi familia y crear lindos momentos, es bastante difícil elegir una, pero si tengo que elegir entre mis pasiones sería viajar porque conozco nuevos lugares y me desconecto un momento de mi rutina diaria que es un tanto agotadora la mayoría de las veces.
Viajar para la playa, selva o montaña es una buena forma de conectarme con la naturaleza, disfrutar de sus paisajes, de su diversidad de flora y fauna dependiendo del lugar, y en las ciudades poder hacer un traslado al pasado a través de su cultura, patrimonio y religión que jamás debe ser olvidado como ciudadanos es una manera de tener sentido de pertenencia por lo nuestro, también disfruto conocer a nuevas personas que también salen de su zona de comodidad para tener una aventura como yo.
Viajar genera felicidad, una satisfacción y unas ganas de seguir viajando a nuevos destinos que no tiene comparación.
2. ¿Cuál es tu fiesta favorita del año y por qué?
Mi celebración favorita del año es el 18 de noviembre día en el que la ciudad de Maracaibo se viste de fiesta para festejar a su patrona la Virgen del Rosario de Chiquinquirá también llamada con mucho cariño "La Chinita".
Cuenta la historia que una viejita se encontró la tablita en las orillas del lago, la llevó a su casa para cubrir las tinajas donde tenía su ropa ya que se ganaba la vida lavando ropa ajena, cierto día ella sintió que estaban tocando su puerta al percatarse que no había nadie, miró hacia la tablita la cuál estaba cubierta de luz y apareció la imagen de la Chinita con la compañía de dos santos San Andrés y San Antonio, años después este retrato se convirtió en una fuente de devoción por el pueblo marabino y a quién se le retribuye la intercesión en milagros y favores concedidos.
La tablita se encuentra en la Basílica Nuestra Señora del Rosario Chiquinquirá donde no sólo los Zulianos la visitan en su día sino feligreses desde distintas partes del país para rendirle homenaje, es una de las tradiciones que me hace sentir mucha felicidad de haber nacido en este estado, cuando estoy en su templo frente a su imagen me llena de tranquilidad porque siento que estoy protegida por ella en cada momento de mi vida, siempre voy a venerar a mi Chinita.
