Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 149

Hello Feathered Friends Lovers,

Welcome to #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 149

The idea about this prompt came to my mind after @pardinus's post and comments about the twigs that happened to be so often between the bird and the lens. It really happens all the time and I have deleted many, really many photos, because of the bloody twigs. You see the bird, just the right place, the light is what you expect to have with the sun behind your back and... twigs. The photo is not what you wish to be, but for some reason you keep it. Well, now is the time to show it to the world. 🙂

PSX_20240113_191352.jpg

The Syrian woodpecker is posing, but no way to avoid the twig in front.

PSX_20240113_191545.jpg

The Green woodpecker in this photo was high and again, I couldn't avoid the twigs.
Sometimes I could move and change the angle and got lucky, or the bird would be gone leaving me empty handed.

Now you got the idea.

Indeed, if not the leaves, the branches and needles and all that always stands in front. 🙂

Sometimes wonder if they not playing 'hide and seek' with us, laughing silently from above!

Hello dear friend @nelinoeva good morning
Although it may be hard to believe, I love this type of shots that show the branches in front of the bird, I will see if I have any photographs of this type
I love your shots, beautiful slogan.
I take this opportunity to wish you a beautiful Sunday

This is good, but how is it easy to capture birds, I keep thinking, I love the community but how easy capturing live birds are?

You don't need expensive camera, smartphones can do nice photos too. Be patient, look around, watch the birds. Try with something easy - birds in park or zoo, beach or farm.

Hi! :) I hope I am not too late to join this round, here is my entry

https://peakd.com/hive-106444/@lightcaptured/the-silent-observer-photography-by-lightcaptured

I found this brave fella observing and enjoying silently the calm waters of the lake at evening.

Why "brave fella"? Because usually egrets here are extremely shy and they rarely allow to be photographed from such a short distance. I guess I looked trust worthy enough to it :)

Thank you and have a great Sunday!
