Welcome to #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 155

There are few changes in the contest. First, the contest post will be published later than usual. Until now I tried to be punctual and the contest post to be publishes at 1.30 pm Eastern European Time (EET). From now on, I will publish it at 8.00 pm Eastern European Time (EET).

Next change is about the Ecency points, you can see when you scroll and read the update. I am happy to say we will give 600 points to each winner and 60 points as a tip to each valid entry.

And now the challenge. Let me see your Lucky Shots. When it comes to photograph birds, each shot can be considered lucky. It is hard to predict where the bird will hop or how will turn and what will do next. You can't simply tell it to stay put or to turn the way you wish. So, it is more likely a free theme again, but still I wish to tell me why you think your entry photo is lucky.

Here is my first example. It was once only to spot two green woodpeckers together and trying to get both in frame I always have one of them blurry and out of focus. This is something I have to work on it and to understand better. However, I did not know that I have that lucky shot of them, while one is hopping and spreading the wings. That is my first lucky shot, because it was more likely accidental.

My next example is the photo of the Greenfinch, who was gathering material for the nest. Why this shot is lucky? I did not know that the bird had something in its beak until I focused and luckily I had several shots with that feather. I have not seen again a Greenfinch with building material. 😄
