Welcome to #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 163

Let's have again Free Theme. Let me see your best shots of birds and what you can tell about them. I am so impressed by the entries of the contestants when the theme is free, so diverse the avian world is and seeing the photos from different corners of the world, we all learn more about it. I have said that before and I could repeat it over and over again - I have expanded my knowledge about the birds thanks to all of you who takes part in #SMaP or simply post you stories in our community. And I am very thankful.

Now back to the new round and here is my example for inspiration.😉

This is a new bird for me, first time having the male Eurasian linnet.
I was out of the office, it was the end of the working day. The camera was in my bag and I saw the bird with these red patches on the chest perching on the top of the shrub. I dropped the bag on the gound and took the camera quickly. Luckily the linnet waited for me to make few shots.
