Ladies of Hive Community Contest #234 || Are you a book or movie person?

Well, I must admit that I'm a person with varied tastes. I can never settle on anything specific because I like to adapt to different environments and tastes, so much so that I've never had a favorite color, food, or music genre. And in this case, it's no different because I love watching movies. Going to the movies is one of my favorite pastimes. It's a unique moment of recreation that takes us to different places. But watching a movie at home in the comfort of our home is also part of sharing time with family or being alone and enjoying those romantic movies that I particularly love.

Either of these two options, whether going to the movies or watching them at home, seems like an excellent plan to me. Although I really enjoy reading, especially now that I'm a mother, my son usually always has control of the television, and those movie days have become days filled with children's cartoons, game series, and more. I usually watch them with him, but when I have free time, I prefer to read a book. I almost always download and try them on my phone so I can do it at the same time as he's watching TV.

I don't have a specific literary genre as such. I love romantic stories, those that make us imagine the most beautiful scenarios, also those that teach us that overcoming and knowing ourselves is the first step to moving forward. My darkest secret is that I like dark romance books (laughs). I read one for the first time a long time ago, and since then I usually always have several on my waiting list, although I select the authors very carefully, based on my past readings.

I must say that although I can't quite decide between watching movies and reading a good book, I currently prefer the latter, mainly due to lack of time and because it allows me to let my imagination run wild.

Bueno debo admitir que soy una persona de gustos variados, nunca logro decidirme por algo en específico pues me gusta adaptarme a los diferentes ambientes y gustos, tanto así que nunca he tenido un color, comida o género musical favorito. Y en este caso no es diferente pues me encanta ver películas, ir al cine es uno de mis pasatiempos favoritos, es para mí un momento de recreación único que nos lleva a diferentes escenarios, pero también el ver una película es casa en la comodidad de nuestro hogar forma parte del compartir en familia o estar solos y disfrutar de esas películas románticas que en particular me encantan.

Cualquiera de estas dos opciones ya sea ir al cine o ver estas películas en casa me parece un excelente plan, aunque disfruto mucho leer sobre todo actualmente que soy madre pues mi hijo ppe lo general siempre tiene el control de la televisión y esas días de películas se convirtieron en días llenos de caricaturas infantiles, series de juegos y demás. Por lo general lo acompañó a verlas pero cuando tengo tiempo libre prefiero leer un libro. Casi siempre los descargo y tento en mi teléfono para poder hacerlo al mismo tiempo que el ve televisión.

No tengo un género literario como tal, me encantan las historias románticas, esas que nos hace imaginarnos los escenarios más hermosos, también aquellos que nos enseñan que superarse y conocerse es el primer paso para avanzar y mi secreto más oscuro es que me gusta los libros de Dark romance (risas) leí uno por primera vez hace mucho tiempo y desde allí siempre suelo tener varios en mi lista de espera, aunque selecciono muy bien los autores de los mismo, basada en mis lecturas pasadas.

Debo decir que aunque no me decido del todo entre ver películas y leer un buen libro, actualmente realizó más la segunda opción, sobre todo por falta de tiempo y porque me permite hacer volar mucho más mi imaginación.
