I would be in awe all the time. I don't know if my heart can withstand such awe... but looking at these photos, I thought of your desire to live in a more rural area. I prefer that too. I like to walk around the city but not live in it.
Malaga is beautiful, however I prefer its green landscapes and its sea.
As for how people prepare and live these festivities, I find it super nice, whatever it is... it is true that sometimes things lose their essence with the consumerism, but if you stop to think in all times it was like that, which is in its own way. I suppose that keeping the tradition is something remarkable. In many places culture and identity are lost.

Habiendo vivido en pleno centro te digo que no me gustó, que no me gusta el bullicio, la parte gris digamos, la gente es alegre y todo eso pero siempre me gusto el silencio, no los gritos. Por eso prefiero lo más alejado, con esto no digo estar en medio de la nada pero como al comienzo, vivía en el último barrio de la ciudad...
Si te digo la verdad.. todo esto tiene mucho de comercio, por ejemplo alquilar un balcón para ver los tronos pasar... hasta 8.000 euros! Una locura, ahí uno entra a pensar que no hay anda de religión, más allá de que no soy de ninguna religión... turismo, y turismo... Hablando claramente es eso.
