¡Hola querida comunidad de #hive!, especial saludo a #DiyHub. Esperando que todos estén bien. En esta oportunidad quiero participar en el reto de Halloween Contest. Después de varios días pensando que hacer para competir entre los artesanos de esta comunidad me he decidido por realizar una especie de Guirnalda de varias figuras alegóricas del día de brujas, es decir Halloween: calabazas, arañas, y JACK.
Este proyecto lo he efectuado con material de desecho una vez mas reducir la basura y poseer un lindo adorno que puede servir para la mesa de una fiesta de la noche de brujas que pronto se celebrará. Aquí en Venezuela no se acostumbra celebrar; sin embargo, muchas familias se trasladan a centros comerciales donde las tiendas decoran con estas figura alegóricas 🎃🕸🕷👻💀, y degustan comidas especiales y todos los miembros de la familia festejan. Sin mas detalle voy al paso a paso.

Paso a paso:

Materiales:

• 08 limones secos.
• 08 alambres plastificados (alambre twist-band).
• Hilo dorado.
• Pintura al frío color blanco, negro, amarillo, rojo.
• Pinceles.
• Hilo pabilo.
• Borlas.
• 02 círculos de tela.
• Silicón líquido.

Proceso:

• En un estante de mi cocina tenía varios limones secos, los escogí por tamaños iguales.

Para las arañas (02)

• Tomé dos limones 🍋 secos y pegué con silicón los alambres twist band 04.
• Luego pegue un círculo de tela sobre ellos para darle dureza.
• Después procedí a pintar con el color negro el cuerpo y las patas(08).
• Con un pincel fino y el color blanco le hice los ojos.

Para las calabazas (03)🎃🎃🎃

• Tomé tres limones secos 🍋🍋🍋 y procedí a pintar.
• Como no tenía color naranja, uni el color rojo y amarillo.
• Le di varias capas.
• Con el color negro y pincel fino procedí a delinear ojos, nariz y boca.

Para hacer JACK (03)

• Tomé tres limones secos 🍋y procedí a pintar varias capas de blanco.
• Dejé secar, luego delineé el rostro de JACK con color negro y pincel fino.

Ensamblado:

• Con el hilo dorado hice 08 asas y las pegué en la parte superior de cada esfera.
• Con un metro de hilo pabilo inserté cada esfera.
• Hice 07 borlas de hilo negro e hice la guirnalda.

… Y listo mi guirnalda de figuras alegóricas para Halloween 🎃 👻💀🦇🕷🕸

Muy emocionada de hacer el reto con material de provecho, todos los materiales lo tenemos en casa, esta actividad es muy adecuado para realizarlo junto con niños, es muy entretenida la labor. También hacemos el trabajo de reciclar y les enseñamos la importancia de usar material de provecho. Además, obtenemos estas figuras alegóricas para decorar la mesa o pared el día 31 de octubre. Y ellos estarán felices haciendo las figuras.

A mí me gustaron todas, son bambalinas originales y fáciles, la más interesante es la araña, en la cual empleé los alambres twist band, son las piezas que se utilizan para cerrar las bolsas de pan, y yo las guardo cada vez hasta que hoy pensé utilizarla, y realmente quedan bien porque dan la forma de patas.

Las bambalinas las coloqué como un colgante o guirnalda unida por un hilo y unas borlas, porque voy a usarla en la pared o en la orilla de una mesa.
A mí me gustaron todas las figuras, ¿y a Uds. mis amigos cuál les gustó?

Hello dear #hive! community, special greetings to #DiyHub. Hoping everyone is well. In this opportunity I want to participate in the Halloween Contest challenge. After several days thinking about what to do to compete among the artisans of this community I have decided to make a kind of garland of various allegorical figures of Halloween: pumpkins, spiders, and JACK.
This project I have made it with waste material once again to reduce garbage and have a nice decoration that can be used for the table of a Halloween party that will soon be celebrated. Here in Venezuela it is not customary to celebrate; however, many families go to shopping malls where stores decorate with these allegorical figures 🎃🕸🕷👻💀, and taste special foods and all family members celebrate. Without more detail I go to the step by step.

Step by step:

---

Materials:

• 08 dried lemons.
• 08 plasticized wires (twist-band wire).
• Golden thread.
• Cold paint in white, black, yellow, red.
• Brushes.
• Pabilo thread.
• Tassels.
• 02 fabric circles.
• Liquid silicone.

Process:

• On a shelf in my kitchen I had several dried lemons, I chose them by equal sizes.

For the spiders (02)

• I took two dried 🍋 lemons and glued twist band 04 wires with silicone.
• Then I glued a circle of fabric over them to give it stiffness.
• Then I proceeded to paint with the black color the body and the legs(08).
• With a fine brush and the white color I made the eyes.

For the pumpkins (03)🎃🎃🎃🎃.

• I took three dried lemons 🍋🍋🍋🍋 and proceeded to paint.
• Since I didn't have orange color, I joined the red and yellow color.
• I gave several coats.
• With the black color and thin brush I proceeded to outline eyes, nose and mouth.

To make JACK (03)

• I took three dried lemons 🍋 and proceeded to paint several layers of white.
• I let dry, then outlined JACK's face with black color and fine brush.

Assembly:

• With the golden thread I made 09 handles and glued them to the top of each sphere.
• With one meter of wick thread I inserted each sphere.
• I made 07 tassels of black thread and made the garland.

Very excited to do the challenge with scrap material, all the materials we have it at home, this activity is very suitable to do it together with children, it is very entertaining work. We also do the work of recycling and teach them the importance of using useful materials. In addition, we get these allegorical figures to decorate the table or wall on October 31. And they will be happy making the figures.

The most interesting one is the spider, in which I used the twist band wires, they are the pieces that are used to close the bread bags, and I keep them every time until today I thought of using it, and they really look good because they give the shape of legs.

I placed the bambalinas as a pendant or garland joined by a thread and tassels, because I am going to use it on the wall or on the edge of a table.
