Tips To Help You Thrive On Hive

The patient is virtual. No matter what we are doing in this life, we must be patient. I once talked about how I came to hive, so I won't be talking about it anymore, but there are some things I did to become who I am today, and although I'm no one, I'm still better than some on the platform. I do not blame people who don't get their way on hive; it might be due to one or two reasons if we ask them. Firstly, I would love to thank my mentor. There is one thing that he told me that I won't forget: hive is not a money-making machine, so do not come to hive because of money; if you do, you will be disappointed. See Hive as a school that you need to go to learn, and do your best there no matter what.

He told me so many times that when you write a post and you keep seeing zero rewards, just keep doing your best because you are in school, make sure you graduate, and don't be distracted. So many people got distracted on this; once they posted for a while and did not make it, they stopped posting, which is not supposed to be like that.

To enjoy this great platform, there are things we need to do and follow.

Not a money-making matchine: when coming to the hive, erase the thought that you want to be rich so you won't get disappointed. There is no newbie that won't have more zeros on their posts because it's not easy to be seen just like that. You can only be seen if you keep doing your best, so you need to eradicate this thought if you ever have it in your mind.

Consistency: no matter what we are doing, we need to be consistent with it. The more we do, the easier it gets. If you want to be successful in life and you are taking it with levity without any form of seriousness, consistency is one of the keys to success in life.

Get a mentor. Don't think you can do it all. The hive is wide enough for you to know everything in the first few days after you came to the hive. A mentor will do his or her best to put you through this because he has been there before and knows everything you did not know. So getting a mentor will allow you to move so well on this platform called Hive.

Make friends: you can't just be there without making friends with people; your friends might know one or two things that will benefit you on the blockchain. This is one of the things I did when I came to the platform. I make sure I make a lot of friends, and until this moment, we are close like a family.

Ask questions: No man is a highland of knowledge; you can't know it all. That is why we need to ask questions any time you do not understand. I'm pretty sure people will be ready to answer your questions; this is one way to move well on the hive.

Discipline. One of the best ways to achieve any goals or dreams you have is to discipline yourself after you have set them. It is easy to set goals, but you need discipline to achieve them. For instance, you might set a goal to write on Hive every day, which is quite possible. It's now up to you to schedule your time and discipline yourself to achieve this dream of yours.
To achieve my goals, I set a goal of writing at least five times a week, and I make sure I achieve them even now that I'm writing every day. That is what I meant by discipline; without it, you won't be able to go far.

Check out the communities. We have a series of communities; subscribe to them and check out a series of their contexts, which you can easily participate in. Engage there and meet people. By doing this, you will grow as much as you think.

Work hard and be patient. If you are in the hive, you will need to work hard and be patient because you don't expect to make it big in a day. But when you keep doing your best, you will be there before you know it. You will be there and be the best of your version.
