Parents ,should we pass the family responsibility to our kids after they graduate?Or you allow your kids to shoulder the burdens that supposed to not theirs? As a child ,it's necessary for you to pay back your parent's laborious effort even though it means you have to sacrifice your freedom?

As a parent ,I am not agree on this ,we give our kids the education they needed not for an investment thinking and giving them the responsibility to shoulder all the burdens when they got a chance to have their own money.

We give them the education they needed its for their own future as well as their future family.
As mom ,I always keep reminding my son though he is still young to study harder for his future ,we doesn't have a lot of wealth to give for them only the education and the daily care I give them as a parents.

I feel sad for some kids who their parents pass the huge responsibility after they graduate and got a job.A lot of times I heard that some parents are saying this to their kids"when you got a job soon ,don't forget to pay back all the sacrifices we did for you, always remember how hard our situation now and you are our hope that we can escape from this poverty".

But if someday my kids are thinking about it ,well I will not stop them.If someday they want to help us and hold the responsibility which supposedly not theirs ,I will letting them.

Just like what I did when I got a chance to have my own money ,when I was working part of my salary was given to my mother for their needs and I am not thinking that it's my way of paying them back their sacrifices but I considered as showing my love for them.

We are a poor family and I know how hard our life ,that's why even at my young age I am finding ways to helped them.
My parents didn't asked any payment from us but we as their kids who knows how much they sacrifices. So we are all helping them showing our love to them.

And as kid before ,I feel those kids who been asking what they wanted to be someday ,most of the kids who born and grew being poor would be the answer is to help their parents and family.

Helping my parents or shoulder their burdens is not a paying back for me but I consider it as my love for them.

And that's for it today ,thank you for reading and especial thanks to the community for giving me an idea what topic to write today.

Education is a great treasure we could pass on to our children (in case I'll have one someday, I'll do the same ☺️). Because children's success is the basis of parents' success. It's not really about the materials things parents give to their kids, it's about the intangible gifts and support, and how parents nurture and guide their kids to have a better future.

Helping my parents or shoulder their burdens is not a paying back for me but I consider it as my love for them.

I love this! True enough. It's not paying back, but love. We help them because we can't take seeing them suffering. They suffered enough while raising us. So it's time for us to do what is right to do, and help them live the life they deserve.

Thanks for joining !LADY

Let the kid decide kung anong gagawin nila sa future, if the mother taught them well naman for sure, the result of jt will be good too.

I agree with you sis. I will not pass my responsibility as parent to my kids. It's our responsibility to give them education, not an investment.

I fully agree with you on this. Kids should be kids and they should study, learn and play when they are at that age. I'm not saying they can't help out from time to time, but making them work and crush them with chores and responsibilities is just selfish.

Also asking money from them after they graduate is also something should not happen. At that age if they want to help out financially, fine. If not, that should be fine too. If parents raise their kids right, the bond lives till the end and help is always there. This should happen naturally. But there should never become a must.

So true ,let them do if they wanted to give after they graduated but not giving a huge responsibility which is not supposed to be theirs.

Thanks Erika for your time ,have a great day!🥰

Done as you have done is a wonderful gift and a showing of the love you have for your parents. Well done!

I agree that parents shouldn't foist financial responsibilities off on children as they start their adult life. They have their own life to live and need to be able to find their way in this world.

Thanks for sharing, and have a lovely week!🤗💜

It is saddening to see or hear parents consider their children as their investment for ganito and so on..."

It makes my heart bleed pag nakakarinig ng ganon to be honest. When children are brought up well, they will be responsible enough.

This is such an inspiring way to put it. Your kids shouldn't be seen as an investment. Caring for them and showering them with love, even though we hope they do same to us, doesn't mean we provide for them as a medium of long-term payback.

You've put it quite amazingly and I think you're an amazing woman yourself to uphold these views.🌺
