Do you fancy some wine, food and music?

Maybe I had to take a glass or two of wine in the event that happened last weekend...? Maybe, but I didn't. Drinking wine doesn't really go well with my infinite fight with migraines and the consequences they leave behind - sometimes a lot of energy and happiness because you feel yourself alive again, other times it is just emptiness.

Even if not tasting wine this time, I still strolled between the stalls that were offering it. The event happened last weekend in the little park. The tall eucalyptus trees make this park the best spot in the town (during the summer) for different events.

It is not colder there, of course, but surely better than being exposed directly to the sun. The sellers of food and wine were there for two days. The event itself had a lot of visitors - I went on the first day to walk around and take a look and the second day in the evening to listen to a concert.

The entrance to the event was free though you had to pay for food if you wanted to eat. For wine, you could buy some tickets, like €15 for each ticket and then you got one or several glasses of wine.

The food stalls offered wraps, cheese, meat, snacks, salads and even some cute, wooden hand-made cutlery.

These are the wraps of cheese and salad. €3 for one piece is a reasonable price.

A wine event can't be held without cheese :)

Do you also think it is a bit odd combination? A kind of cake with meat on it?

Mix Tropical - €6 for one package of fruits... The same price was shown for a package of salad. I was not hungry in the end ;)

The wine stalls had the protagonism here. They showcased the products from various local wine cellars and although I didn't try any (I already explained the reason) I still enjoyed seeing the bottles, their design and the decoration on the tables.

Love Spirit? Again, I loved the grapes and maybe on some other occasion, I would try the wine too.

I was positively surprised to see this stall with olive oil, expecting just wine and snacks. A great thing is that this area, and especially the valley of Guadalest hides a treasure - olives! Several family businesses stand out that are dedicated to growing olives and making oil. Not cheap, but it's the quality of the product you pay for.

The wine & food event was accompanied by music and DJs. I already mentioned a concert on the second evening that had to conclude this whole happening and the rain that came in. Luckily, the stage was covered so the music equipment was saved! ;)
