LOH Contest W173: Let Me Be Alone

Hello wonderful Ladies of Hive,I am delighted to participate in this week's contest after a long while. The topics selected are indeed interesting and I will the talking about the case of having to deal with a pregnancy unplanned.

There have been many instances where a lady is impregnated by her boyfriend incidentally without being ready for the big tasks of parenting or family life. For this reason, it is pertinent that in a intimate relationship that isn't defined, caution should be applied in the case of love making. Having an unprotected sex with someone who is not your husband is a risk.

Consequently, taking the risk of unprotected sexual intercourse can result in an unplanned pregnancy and unfortunately, a partner can be one who is not right, perhaps irresponsible. Choosing a partner is one fragile part of one's life that if not given proper attention, there might be regrets resulting from wrong choice.

A right partner can be chosen but another troubling case is meeting with bad in-laws. They could be really selfish, greedy, demanding, never satisfied and nosy people and this can be so uncomfortable.

If I am face with the situation of a pregnancy unplanned for, a wrong partner and bad in-laws, I would rather chose to keep the baby and raise my child alone. I understand that single parenting isn't easy but it is better off, for the sake of my mental health, peace and safety. It is better to be alone than being trapped in a toxic relationship. Emotional trauma destroys!
