"A Few Good Men" is the Tom Cruise movie I like the most in this week's new contest. But I must admit that I'm not a huge Tom Cruise fan. I do, however, enjoy watching courtroom movies.

I am aware that many of you are passionate about his acting (Tom Cruise). Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore in the movie are also making this movie more compelling for me to watch. However, this film's narrative is extremely touching.

"A Few Good Men" is strengthened even further by the fact that it is based on true events, in addition to the outstanding plot and performances. The marine who was killed in the movie's opening, William T. Santiago (Michael DeLorenzo), was actually Pfc. (Private First Class) is the third lowest Army rank.

REVIEW

This movie is about a military lawyer named Lt. Daniel Kaffee (Tom Cruise) defending two American Marines (Dawson and Downey) accused of murdering another Marine (Santiago) at the Cuban naval base of Guantanamo Bay. Dawson and Downey said that Kendrick visited them in their room and gave Santiago a Code Red. He was only going to have his head shaved as a lesson, not to be killed, but he passed away after having a rag forced into his mouth as a gag. In the end, Dawson and Downey are disgracefully fired for "conduct unbecoming a United States Marine" despite being judged not guilty of murder.

As you can see, the morality of the characters in "A Few Good Men" varies, they are all fiercely loyal to their moral codes and principles. For instance, Jessup (Jack Nicholson) has a straightforward perspective on life. His worldview eliminates nuance but makes his life simpler because it divides the world into good and evil.

The lack of action will certainly bore those who love an action movie, but this is a good option for you if you are searching for military-related talking points or simply enjoy courtroom dramas like me. The military and the responsibilities of man in uniform are complicated and fascinating topics that are brought up in "A Few Good Men". I forgot to mention that I love men in uniform and I know how their nature works.

I believe that "A Few Good Men" is noteworthy for its comprehension of a particular issue - the fight between the "elites" and the more established institutions of the military, police, and similar institutions — as well as the very distinct masculinities connected with each.

These movies include the nature of conformity, the persecution of the weak, and the cost of blind devotion to superiors. I end my writing with the quote on this movie.

P/S: Tom Cruise was 30 years old in this movie and now he is 61 years old.
