Ladies of hive community contest#179//share any good memorable mother daughter relationship and one thing i learnt from my mother that she didn't teach me directly by@megamo

Hello great ladies of hive, so good to be here again .I appreciate @merit.ahama for choosing this wonderful topics ,I will be sharing a good memorable mother daughter relationship with you,and one thing I learnt from my mother that she didn't teach me directly. This is an opportunity to appreciate my mom. My mother played a key role to my growing up and development in life.I am forever grateful for her tireless, consistent, persistent, training, discipline and relentless efforts to who I have become in life today.
I will start with a brief history of my mother which will lay a good foundation to my story.
My mother was born into the family of Coker which was a big one. My mom from her mother's side were just two, herself and her brother.

My mother was a beautiful, strong determined and hardworking woman.During her days as lady, she worked hard to raise funds to support her endeavors in life.At her single days, She lived with her parents in Ijebu ode local government area in Ogun state in Nigeria in search for a better life through her bosom friend, came to the northern part of Nigeria in Plateau State. She worked at different filling stations as a fuel attendant, she also worked at the Kingsway supermarket, she also worked in waterboard cooperation.Through her boosom friend, she came in contact with my dad and the love story ended up with them getting married and the union was blessed with myself and four brothers. She was a trader in Jos main market with my father a buisness they had together, with that buisness, they were able to build their own houses and other investments. She gave her life to Christ and became a dedicated sanctuary keeper in the church we attended. After many years my Dad got ill and passed on to glory .She became a widow and I watched her amazingly loved the house of God.
While growing up my mom always encouraged me to pay attention to my education, she will say to me, "if you study hard you will not lack food on your table".
One good memorable mother daughter relationship I can never forget with my mother was her walk with God .Her faith in the Lord contributed to my dedication and salvation today, she was part of the Women's fellowship, her team constantly follow up on members of the church who have not been coming to church, to encourage them. she helped new mothers bath their new born babies, and teach them how to care for their children. She ensured the house of God was kept clean. She greatly cared for the needy around her, she loved little children and won souls to kingdom.
One day, I was singing and she took notice of it. She told me that while she was growing up,she loved singing too but at her older age she couldn't sing again. She said that singing praises and worship will bring glory to the Lord,it will change my life and draw the attention of God to anything that concerns me.She encouraged me to be a committed member of the choir . She taught me how to write gospel playlet for the youth fellowship I was attending those days.
Today I am Gospel minister, in music because of my mother's relationship with me.
What, I learnt from my mother that she didn't teach me directly, was her love for children, despite she was a widow, she never dropped her standards in home training, as the only daughter,I was her friend, my friends were her friends,so she could understand and know how to manage me.Her lifestyle was what I learnt from her, more than what she said. I watched my mom do what she said. She became a role model for me.She passed on to glory the year I graduated from university. Unfortunately my mom was there before I got married .
When I got married I was blessed with a Son and a daughter.
My mother was no more, but her life style and all she taught became a guide to training up my daughter today.Directly she is no more but her deed have become footsteps for me to follow.Thank you for taking time to read my memories with my mom and what I learnt from her.See you in my next post.Thank you!!!

Wow all these seem impossible to do by a woman, but your mum proves it wrong. She's a strong woman.
