The Mystery Of Reincarnation.

Regarding this topic.. Reincarnation, I do not know of anyone that has reincarnated, but I have heard. I have watched it in films, I have heard a lot if people talk about it. There have been various tales/moonlight stories too.

And if you are a Nigerian, and a Yoruba born, you will agree with me that they so much believe in it, Yoruba will name a dead man(male) they believe to have reincarnated "Babatunde" meaning.. Our father has come again. And if its a female, they give them names like "Iyabo" meaning.. the mother has come. I can't say if I believe or not, but I do hear when people say their child behaves exactly like their late grandmother, grandfather, late uncle and all, eating the same food the person used to crave, speaking with the same expressions, and even recognizing and being free with people she never met.

I heard story some years ago when I happen to visit my paternal grandmother(she's late now). A young girl born two years after her grandfather passed suddenly began asking for his walking stick. This girl at the age of four started doing strange things, she would tell and describe the places her grandfather had been too, she would explain his eating habit, she knows the way to their shrine and would perform the normal dance the grandfather used to when he was alive, she would call her older brother by the pet name only the grandfather used to call him.

It made everyone wonder, if she had been a female, everyone would have agreed that it was the father that came back, but she's a female, but how do we explain this, we still need to agree that she was him, cause no one could explain it, they even said the pastor that was around then said it was just the devil’s distraction/manipulation. There are times that I do think religion doesn't want us to ask certain questions, but our heart will keep pestering us and keep us wondering.

I don't know if this is right, but I believe science has its limits. Because how do we explain a child being so like someone that has come and gone, how do we explain the story I shared above, how do we explain when someone behaves like a memory....

Our everyday reality is intertwined with the spiritual realm, that's just my believe, which I believe some will also agree with me that there's definitely a connection between the physical and metaphysical, some spiritual forces or energies definitely influences our lives. Or ,how do we explain having a dream and seeing it come to reality. The reason why we pray, cast and bind, the reason why some have to go extra length in bathing in special concoction water and do all sort of things is because we've seen things logic cannot hold.

Even still, I cannot say I fully believe, nor can I say I don’t. I’ve felt moments that the hair on my arms will just rise, I've met strangers behave like people I really know, I've met strangers and it felt like I had known them all my life. My cousin was once told me its so cool to return here after a long time, I looked st her and wondered what she meant, she's never traveled to this state, talkless of entering this house. So, maybe, just maybe we pass through this world more than once, gathering lessons, lending our voice's and leaving certain legacies each time.

I should conclude right 🤔, cause even though I don't really understand it, the stories will continue, it will continue to pass from lips to ears and from one generation to the other.
