CineTv Contest: Favorite Children's Cartoon - Penguins of Madagascar (2014)

This particular contest needs no thinking for me because. "Penguins of Madagascar" has always been my favorite of all the children's cartoons that I watched as a child. The cartoon is a spin-off of the "Madagascar" cartoon series that showcase the exploits of Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private, four penguins that lived in the Central Park Zoo, as well as their funny antics. This is a hilarious cartoon.

The cartoon was more than just a cartoon for me; it was a portal to a world where your wildest aspirations and craziest thoughts could come true. Also it was the showcasing of the penguins' friendship that made "Penguins of Madagascar '' so memorable to me. No matter what, whatever happened, these four penguins were always there for each other. Even when things become so tough, they are always ready and able to collaborate and find a solution.

One other thing that attracted me to the fascinating characters of these odd penguins, was that each of them offered something unique to the group that made them dynamic, right from the very start.

Skipper was the rugged and brave leader, he was always up to something ingenious. Kowalski, was the brilliant strategist, never did he stop to amaze me with his scientific acumen. Rico, the adorable one, although slightly insane but he was their demolitions specialist, he could summon an armory of gadgets from outta nowhere. Finally, there was Private, the adorable and naïve rookie who frequently acted as the team's heart.

These group of penguins were a powerful force whenever they worked together, and I so admired their steadfast devotion to one another.

Why I like this cartoon a lot
Growing up as a kid, I had my own circle of pals with whom I felt close. And when we saw this cartoon together, my friends and I saw ourselves like the Penguins of Madagascar. I know, it felt childish but back then it made us feel as if we could overcome any obstacle together. After the movie, we even started dubbing ourselves the names from the cartoon, like skipper, Rico etc! Because their friendship was so relevant and encouraging.

I won't forget the script. The writing was excellent, it had some witty jokes and stories. The voices behind the acting were also excellent, and the animation was clear, vibrant and entertaining to watch.

The penguins' adventures took them to distant continents, aquatic regions, and even outer space. The cartoon piqued my interest in the animal domain, especially penguins as at then. Not anymore though. I began to learn to understand more about these flightless birds. I wanted to know if how they behaved in the cartoon was how penguins behave in reality.

Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private are names I hear now and my mind rushes back to "The Penguins of Madagascar". Because that's how I was affected by this cartoon. If you have not seen this cartoon, I highly recommend you do. Because you will definitely be blown away trust me.

This is a contest on CineTv.
