A historical place in my city😎. | LOH #150 contest.
Greetings my dear friends from hive, especially to the beautiful ladies of this community, I hope you are very well, I am here again to participate in the weekly contest, when I read the themes that my friend @tibaire proposed to us I loved the first one, a historic place in my city, the beautiful castle that is part of the great history that surrounds this city, Cumana, Edo Sucre-Venezuela, immediately came to my mind, I had not been to the castle for a long time, so May today charge me with good energy and a lot of history, upon returning to this beautiful place, and I want to share with everyone a little of what El Castillo San Antonio de la Eminencia is.
The San Antonio de la Eminencia Castle is located in one of the highest parts of the city, so you can appreciate a wonderful view of what Cumaná is, it was built in the 17th century, and it keeps an impressive history of great characters who led the independence of Venezuela, the guide who was showing my husband and I the castle, Mr. Joubert, showed us a very particular dungeon, which was called the dungeon of oblivion, because the prisoners who entered it were not They saw the light of the sun again, they entered there without receiving any water or food, despite having visited these dungeons several times, every time I have the opportunity to enter it is as if I felt the presence of all this history that is in them, I was also able to appreciate several works of art, and a very old photo that shows how the Castle really was when it was built, the guards' bedrooms were on the top, and this part was destroyed by an earthquake.
I love this Castle, it seems to me that it is a unique place, no matter how many times I visit it, I always stop for a few minutes to contemplate the beauty of the view, a view that reminds me of how beautiful my city is, I am also fascinated by listening to these stories, I am one of those who ask and ask the guide, haha, being in the Castle, takes me a bit to the past, because I used to go more frequently, when I was a teenager almost always in high school groups, a few years ago, the nights of yesteryear in Cumaná, and this Castle looked even more beautiful, they decorated it with many lights, and appreciating the city at night is another spectacle, it was almost an obligation to go up to the Castle during the celebrations of these beautiful nights, I think This is what I like the most about this place, the very special memories I have of it.
Delighted to share this special visit with everyone, I confess that it is one of the weekly contests in this community that I have enjoyed the most. Returning to the castle will always be very pleasant for me. I say goodbye, see you in the next one, blessings.

Saludos mis queridos amigos de hive, especialmente a las hermosas damas de esta comunidad, espero que esten muy bien, nuevamente estoy por acá para participar en el concurso semanal, cuando leí los temas que nos propuso la amiga @tibaire me encantó el primero, un lugar histórico de mi ciudad, enseguida se vino a mi mente el hermoso castillo que forma parte de la grandiosa historia que envuelve a esta ciudad, Cumaná, Edo Sucre- Venezuela, tenía mucho tiempo sin ir al castillo, así que hoy me cargue de buenas energías y de mucha historia, al volver a este hermoso lugar, y quiero compartir con todas un poco de lo que es El Castillo San Antonio de la Eminencia.
El Castillo San Antonio de la Eminencia está ubicado en uno de las partes más altas de la ciudad, así que, se puede apreciar una vista maravillosa de lo que es Cumaná, fue construido en el siglo XVII, y guarda una historia impresionante de grandes personajes que lideraron la independencia de Venezuela, el guía que nos estuvo mostrando el castillo a mi esposo y a mi, el señor Joubert, nos mostró un calabozo, muy particular, que era llamado, el calabozo del olvido, pues los presos que ingresaba en este no volvían a ver la luz el sol, ahí entraban sin recibir n agua ni comida, a pesar de haber visitado varia veces estos calabozos, cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de entrar es como si sintiera la presencia de toda esta historia que hay en ellos, también pude apreciar varias obras de arte, y una foto muy antigua en la que se observa como era realmente el Castillo cuando fue construido, los dormitorios de los guardias estaban en la parte de arriba, y esta parte fue destruida por un terremoto.
Este Castillo me encanta, me parece que es un lugar único, no importa cuantas veces lo visite, siempre me paro unos minutos a contemplar la belleza de la vista, una vista que me recuerda lo hermosa que es mi ciudad, ademas me fascina escuchar estas historias, soy de las que pregunta y pregunta al guía, jaja, estar en el Castillo, me lleva un poco al pasado, pues solía ir con más frecuencia, cuando era adolescente casi siempre en grupos del liceo, hace algunos años, se celebran las noches de antaño en Cumaná, y este Castillo lucía un más hermoso, lo adornaban con muchas luces, y apreciar la ciudad en la noche es otro espectáculo, era casi una obligación subir hasta el Castillo durante las celebración de estas noches tan bonitas, creo que esto es lo que más me gusta de este lugar los recuerdos tan especiales que tengo de él.
Encantada de compartir esta visita tan especial con todas, les confieso que es uno de los concurso semanales de esta comunidad que más he disfrutado, volver al castillo, siempre será muy agradable para mi. Me despido, nos vemos en la próxima, bendiciones.
