A Christmas selfie and my favorite Christmas dessert | LOH Contest 161
¡Saludos querida comunidad! Una vez más paso por acá a compartir con ustedes mi participación en esta nueva edición del concurso semanal de Ladies of Hive, para la cual la amiga @elizabethbit nos trae un par de temas interesantes que no podía dejar pasar, así que hoy les dejaré mis respuestas esperando como siempre que mi participación sea de su agrado, pero, antes de comenzar invito a unirse al concurso a mis amigas @alizmarpaola y @leidimrc, ahora sin más, ¡hablemos un poco!
Greetings dear community! Once again I'm stopping by to share with you my participation in this new edition of the weekly Ladies of Hive contest, for which my friend @elizabethbit brings us a couple of interesting topics that I couldn't pass up, so Today I will leave you my answers, hoping as always that my participation is to your liking, but, before starting, I invite my friends @alizmarpaola and @leidimrc to join the contest, now without further ado, let's talk a little!
Algo que me gusta de esta época es poder ver tantas hermosas decoraciones y adornos en cada lugar a que voy, especialmente los lugares grandes como los centros comerciales, los cuales reciben la navidad por todo lo alto. Cada año los eventos y decoraciones son diferentes, siempre mejores y más hermosos que los años anteriores y este año me ha encantado. Desde hace un par de meses trabajo en un centro comercial y si hay una ventaja de estar en ese lugar es que allí puedo enterarme de todos los eventos y ser de las primeras personas en verlos, este año por primera vez vi el encendido del árbol de navidad del centro comercial, fue un momento bastante emocionante y al finalizar no dudé en acercarme al árbol y tomarme esta selfie que les comparto hoy, ya era de noche, estaba muy cansada, tenía muchas horas en el trabajo y ese día fue muy movido y ocupado, sin embargo, estaba muy feliz de ver terminado y encendido el árbol del centro comercial y así cansada y todo me tomé la foto, no es mi mejor selfie pero disfruté mucho el momento, esperando volver pronto a tomar una sesión de fotos en cada espacio decorado de ese lugar.
Something I like about this time of year is being able to see so many beautiful decorations and ornaments in every place I go, especially large places like shopping centers, which receive Christmas in style. Every year the events and decorations are different, always better and more beautiful than previous years and this year I loved it. For a couple of months I have been working in a shopping center and if there is an advantage of being in that place it is that there I can find out about all the events and be one of the first people to see them, this year for the first time I saw the lighting of the Christmas tree. Christmas at the shopping center, it was a quite exciting moment and at the end I did not hesitate to approach the tree and take this selfie that I share with you today, it was already night, I was very tired, I had many hours at work and that day was very hectic and busy, however, I was very happy to see the shopping center tree finished and lit and so tired and everything I took the photo, it is not my best selfie but I really enjoyed the moment, hoping to return soon to take a photo session in each decorated space of that place.
Además de la deliciosa comida típica que comemos en estas fechas en nuestra cena navideña no puede faltar un rico postre para compartir, generalmente el postre más común en l cena navideña es el panettone o la torta negra, sin embargo, en casa solemos comprar una gran variedad de dulces y snacks para esa noche, además, nunca puede faltar nuestra deliciosa torta casera de chocolate, que si bien no es la torta típica de navidad es más que suficiente para nosotros. Solemos hacerla nosotros mismos, normalmente es mi suegra quien la hace y yo la decoro, para complementar me encargo de elaborar un lindo topper con temática navideña para decorarla .
Ese es para nosotros nuestro postre típico y el que disfrutamos luego de la cena de navidad y de año nuevo, es parte de nuestra tradición preparar una torta de chocolate que sin duda es un excelente postre para compartir y disfrutar.
In addition to the delicious typical food that we eat on these dates at our Christmas dinner, we cannot miss a delicious dessert to share, generally the most common dessert at Christmas dinner is panettone or black cake, however, at home we usually buy a large variety of sweets and snacks for that night, in addition, you can never miss our delicious homemade chocolate cake, which although it is not the typical Christmas cake, is more than enough for us. We usually make it ourselves, normally it is my mother-in-law who makes it and I decorate it, to complement it I am in charge of making a nice Christmas-themed topper to decorate it.
That is for us our typical dessert and the one we enjoy after Christmas and New Year's dinner, it is part of our tradition to prepare a chocolate cake that is undoubtedly an excellent dessert to share and enjoy.
