Dream vacation - LOH contest #236

Hello girls! I hope you are all well. I am delighted to participate in this weekly contest where interesting and special topics are always discussed for each one of us. This is my participation.

Hola chicas! Espero se encuentren bien, yo encantada de participar en este concurso semanal donde siempre se tocan temas interesantes y especiales para cada una de nosotras. Esta es mi participación.

When I was a child, we always went on school vacations. My parents took us to visit relatives in other states or organized multi-car caravans to explore the Medanos de Coro or Colonia Tovar. There are many photos of those trips in the family albums at my parents' house. I look back and think about how lucky I was and how unlucky my daughters are, since I've never taken them on vacation.

Cuando era niña siempre salíamos de vacaciones escolares, mis padres nos llevaban a visitar familiares en otros estados o organizaban caravanas de varios carros para conocer los Medanos de Coro, o la Colonia Tovar, de esos viajes hay muchas fotos en los álbumes familiares en la casa de mis padres. Recuerdo eso y pienso en la afortunada que era y lo desafortunadas que son mis hijas, pues nunca las he llevado de vacaciones.

In that sense, my dream vacation with my daughters would be straight to the Walt Disney World Resort. I don't think I'm the only one who dreamed of visiting there as a child, and now that I have daughters, that dream comes alive again. I imagine ourselves wearing Minnie Mouse ear headbands, the girls in tutus, sunglasses, cotton candy, running, jumping, their faces full of amazement, their huge smiles, their eyes shining with everything they're seeing, repeating "Mommy look, mommy look," taking lots of photos, riding the rides, going to the shows, meeting all the characters, and meeting so many people in a magical place, designed for incredible family moments.

En ese sentido, las vacaciones soñadas para mí con mis hijas sería directo al Walt Disney World Resort, no creo que sea la única que soñó de niña visitarlo y ahora que tengo hijas, ese sueño vuelve a cobrar vida. Me imagino usando cintillos con las orejitas de Minnie Mouse, las niñas con tutus, lentes de sol, algodón de azúcar, corriendo, saltando, sus caritas de asombro, sus sonrisas enormes, sus ojos brillando con todo lo que están viendo, repitiendo "mami mira, mami mira", muchas fotos, subiendo a las atracciones, entrando a los shows, conociendo a todos los personajes y conociendo a muchas personas en un lugar lleno de magia, diseñado para vivir momentos increíbles en familia.

But I'm not going to lie to you, I'd like to go on a couples vacation with my husband, a romantic one or a more relaxed one, and for that, Paris is the place to think. I think I'd be very, very happy walking around the Eiffel Tower, enjoying a coffee, the views, taking pictures of its streets, its people, its landscapes, and its details. For me, vacation would be a time of relaxation, tranquility, stillness, and romantic moments.

Pero no les voy a mentir, quisiera vacacionar con mi esposo en plan de parejas, en plan romántico o más tranquilos, y para eso es inevitable pensar en París, creo que yo sería muy muy feliz caminando por los alrededores de la Torre Eiffel, disfrutando de un café, de las vistas, tomando fotografías de sus calles, su gente, sus paisajes y sus detalles. Para mí las vacaciones serían un tiempo de relajación, de tranquilidad, de quietud y de momentos románticos.
