"Project Ramadan 3.0" | An Initiative To Provide Food Support To Poor Families In This Ramadan (2024) [Fundraising Phase Ended]
Hello everyone and good evening. I would like to believe that everyone here is having a good day. This is going to be a fundraising post to provide some of the most needed rations to our country's poor and helpless people during the holy month of Ramadan which is already near. And for the fourth year in a row, I am launching Project Ramadan 3.0 to provide food support to poor families in this ramadan. Lately, price hikes have been a very prominent and common issue here in Bangladesh. Many other countries are also suffering from this as well, but in Bangladesh, the situation gets more and more worse as the years pass and we very well know that it is true. This year to the sharp increase in the price of daily commodities and combined with certain political and business moves by the people in power in our country, the average price of the stuff we need daily has already started going up and by next week when Ramadan begins, it will go up more. Especially one of the most important consumables during Ramadan are dates. And there is already enough news circulating from renowned renown sources that the prices of dates are going to skyrocket as well as other things like rice, lentils other stuffs. And it is also clear enough that many people live below or near the poverty line in our country and these people simply cannot afford these prices and thus they spend a very miserable month in terms of food and other necessities during Ramadan.
This month teaches us about the good things in life and how we should always help people and try to make a better society, which is also what the creator wills. So I am just trying to make a small contribution to a society where people are struggling to buy the things they need and need a normal life.

So, this my rough planning & approximate cost chart. I have decided to allocate 1670 BDT (13.43$) per family and I am targeting to support at least 20 families through this initiative. I would request all of you to contribute in this campaign as your small support would mean a lot to the helpless & poor families. After collecting funds from here, I will cover the rest part from my own fund and other sources of mine (friends and families) as much as possible to execute this initiative successfully. And I will obviously share the final update & report after completing the initiative like the previous ones.

I agree with your thoughts. Today, the price is increasing. People of poor class cannot buy even their necessities of life. We should provide help to such people. You are doing very well.

I love to see this type of charity in Hive.. The blockchain potential is also to gather funds in projects that need funds. Hive isn't just about getting money, it is also for helping the others! Congratz man! More projects like this are needed!

Thank you so much for reaching out and appreciating the work. This Project Ramadan series is being continued by me since 2021 with the help of my friends from inside & outside of HIVE and some of my cousins.
About using dates in photos, I'll keep that in mind from next time. And about gaining more trust, I do share money receipts & updates to maintain transparency if you visit reports of my previous campaigns. Also, I understand that showing clear images would generate more trust or funds. But actually, I would like to maintain the privacy that is why I try to refrain from sharing pictures of myself or the people I'm donating to . I hope you understand my point of view. Thank You
