A weekend without my cellphone
Weekends are always beautiful especially when we spend it with the right people and do the right things that gives us joy. It's already the weekend and I hope you all plan to enjoy it! 🤗
Here in this post I'll be answering the community prompt and I'll be letting you know If I can spend the weekend without my cellphone...
Well this is a very rough question for me because I've become so attached to my phone that it's so difficult to let go and I know I'd always think of it if I had to leave it for anything.
For this contest, I was about to say that I can never live without my phone but on a second thought, I'm answering something different. Yes, this is because I've stayed without my phone before, not just for weekend but for four days.
Now this was an incident that happened that someone forcefully took my phone and I only got it back in the fifth day. How did I feel, well I already knew I was going to get it back on the fifth day, I was very lonely without my phone and it was very sad because I missed my phone, Then I realized it wasn't worth it, I saw an opportunity to do other real life activities and spend more time with family.
So yes, I can spend a weekend without my phone!
What will be the advantages for me?
The advantage is that I'll be able to see and feel my real environment and I'm not always stuck with the device.
Family and friends they need me to talk to them, and spend time with them.
Being without my phone can help me to be more observant to the needs of others and not develop selfishness
It will help me to feel the cool breeze and admire what nature has to offer
Staying without my cellphone will be difficult for me but it is a very advantageous thing.
Yes, there is a little disadvantage to it such as not chatting with online friends and not doing some business, especially not writing on hive, or even not taking pictures for post 🙃. But the advantage far weighs off the disadvantage so I still remain on the side of staying without the phone...
