Figuring a winner to the LUV story contest

Thank you to all those who responded in the comments below. The initial plan was that I'd simply pick a winner to this contest. I'm scratching that plan. Many of these comments were simply too heartfelt for me to subjectively say, "Yep, this is the best one." There's no way to judge that.

So, we'll go random with a winner.

We had 10 entrants with love stories:

Each person will get a LUV token bonus.

@damadama - Sorry, but since your comment wasn't exactly a love story I didn't put you in the mix. But, since you did follow the one rule of "be kind", I will definitely make sure you get a LUV bonus though. :)

How we'll pick a winner

Since we had exactly 10 entrants, I think we'll do it crypto-style...we'll let the Bitcoin blockchain to pick the winner for us. I've done this before and it's kind of fun with anticipation built in.

Each person above has a number in front of their name (@pagane - your number is actually 0). The winner will be determined by whichever number pops up last in the hash of the Bitcoin block #689330. I like BlockChair for this because it shows the first and last letters/numbers right on the page.

we'll go with the last number in block 689330 (for example, right now the most recent block is 689319...you can see the last number is #8...the winner would have been @disi in this case)
if the last character is a letter, just back up to the left until you hit a number...that'll be the winning number (for instance, block 689311, the winner would have been #6)
I think block 689330 will occur in a few (3 to 5) hours (?)

You'll be able to see whoever won as soon as the block goes live, but I'll make an announcement at some point too.
