Hi hivers,
every Monday @qurator organizes a contest whose title is "Qurator Monday Missions".
It's a contest that has a theme that changes every week and this week the theme is: Purely Purple.

Purple is a secondary color because it can be obtained by mixing two primary colors: red and blue.

Searching on the internet I discovered that the color purple symbolizes spirituality, mystery, magic and metamorphosis.

Purple is a color I like a lot but I don't have many objects of this color.
In order to participate in this contest I asked my daughter Chiara, who is seven years old, to help me.

Me: Chiara do you want to participate in a contest?
Chiara: What is a contest?
Me: It's a kind of competition whose theme is the color purple.
Do you have something purple to photograph?
Chiara: ok I'll go and see!

Chiara started looking through her toys for purple objects.
And here is the final result of the search:

• A nightstand with purple drawers
• A little doll with purple hair
• A lantern and a camera built with Lego bricks
• A doll with a purple dress
• One pair of purple doll shoes
• A purple jar
• Other small purple objects

Together with Chiara we had fun arranging all the objects inside the drawers of the small cabinet.

Then we changed the set up :)

We also found an adorable all purple stuffed kitten to join the colorful company....

Before publishing this post I noticed a "small detail"

My daughter and I are late and contest entries were due by 15:00 UTC on Saturday, January 30.
Therefore, this post is not eligible for this week's @qurator contest.

But that's okay because I already won with this post.

I won because I used my time in the best possible way: with my daughter.
I won because I diverted my daughter's attention from cartoons and games on the smartphone that have little creative.
I encouraged my daughter to search for items she had forgotten about.
I incentivized my daughter to be creative.

If you look at the photos in this post, you're absolutely right, they're nothing exceptional: loosely arranged objects and even a bit messy.

But these photos are beautiful to me because they are the result of moments of laughter and fun with my daughter.

In a life that runs faster and faster and offers less and less time to devote to their affections and passions, simple moments of play and fun between a father and a daughter are precious moments and absolutely not to be missed ...

Un post tutto viola!

Ciao hivers,
ogni lunedi @qurator organizza un contest il cui titolo è "Qurator Monday Missions".
E' un contest che ha un tema che cambia ogni settimana e questa settimana il tema è: Purely Purple.

Il colore viola è un colore secondario perchè è ottenibile mescolando due colori primari: il rosso e il blu.

Cercando su internet ho scoperto che il colore viola simboleggia la spiritualità, il mistero, la magia e la metamorfosi.

Il viola è un colore che mi piace molto ma non ho molti oggetti di questo colore.
Per partecipare a questo contest ho chiesto aiuto a mia figlia Chiara che ha sette anni.

Io: Chiara vuoi partecipare ad un contest?
Chiara: Che cos'è un contest?
Io: E' una specie di gara che ha come tema il colore viola.
Tu hai qualcosa di viola da fotografare?
Chiara: ok vado a vedere!

Chiara ha iniziato a cercare tra i suoi giochi gli oggetti di colore viola.
Ed ecco il risultato finale della ricerca:

• Un comodino con i cassetti viola
• Una bambolina con i capelli viola
• Una lanterna e una macchina fotografica costruita con i mattoncini lego
• Una bambola con il vestito viola
• Un paio di scarpe da bambola di colore viola
• Un barattolo di colore viola
• Altri piccoli oggetti di colore viola

Insieme a Chiara ci siamo divertiti a sistemare tutti gli oggetti all'interno dei cassetti del piccolo mobile.

Poi abbiamo cambiato allestimento :)

Abbiamo trovato anche un adorabile gattino di peluche tutto viola che si è aggiunto alla colorata compagnia...

Prima di pubblicare questo post mi sono accorto di un piccolo particolare

Io e mia figlia siamo in ritardo e le entrate al contest dovevano essere pubblicate entro le ore 15:00 UTC di Sabato 30 gennaio.
Questo post non può quindi partecipare al contest di @qurator di questa settimana.

Ma non fa niente perchè con questo post ho già vinto.

Ho vinto perchè ho impiegato il mio tempo nel migliore dei modi: con mia figlia.
Ho vinto perchè ho distolto l'attenzione di mia figlia dai cartoni animati e dai giochi sullo smartphone che hanno poco di creativo.
Ho invogliato mia figlia a ricercare oggetti che aveva dimenticato.
Ho incentivato mia figlia ad essere creativa.

Se guardi le foto di questo post, hai perfettamente ragione, non sono niente di eccezionale: oggetti sistemati in modo approssimativo e anche un pò disordinati.

Ma queste foto per me sono bellissime perchè sono il risultato di momenti di risate e divertimento con mia figlia.

In una vita che corre sempre più veloce e che offre sempre meno tempo da dedicare ai propri affetti e alle proprie passioni momenti semplici, di gioco e di divertimento tra un padre e una figlia sono momenti preziosi e assolutamente da non perdere...
