I had some beer after quite some time; Beer Saturday.

Happy Saturday! It's a long weekend here in my country, the Philippines, as August 21 is a holiday observant of Ninoy Aquino Day, a Special Non-working Holiday. Quite a long story, but it was about our history. With that, I decided to go home to our house. Earlier, the house was a bit chaotic, as the kids are here (husband's nephews), yet as the night comes? I was left alone at home. As the night was still young, I took my laptop and started scrolling through photos in my gallery, looking for something to share. Then, I remembered a few months ago; @zekepickleman and @tengolotodo invited me to share my #Beer stories.

Last March this year, with some of my workmates, we spent a night in one of the well-known campsites nearest our place. The day went well, as we tried different activities offered. As the sun hid from those clouds and the area started to get dark temperature started to drop! It was cold, and the windbreaker I was wearing didn't help.

And so, after eating our dinner, we passed by the Resort's canteen. We had some hot soup, but then we wanted more before bed. Coffee? It may; What about some Smirnoff? One of our companions suggested! Hey ya! That's a great idea, as it's been a long time since I had a bottle of beer!

So we bought this in our room as drinking at the campsite (tent area) is prohibited.

Why is there a RED HORSE?

Did you know this is one of the most well-known beers in my country? In every drinking session this is the first choice for men. We called it Kabayo (which means horse.)

We don't have a guy with us, but one of my friends finds Smirnoff bland. I couldn't blame her, as beer content is 4% more or less.

Cheers, ladies, not a usually set up but the best one while catching and losing up. Also, not a problem if felt suddenly drunk as we are already in bed.

The first sip feels like the first time I tasted alcohol when I was sixteen 🤣. It was foreign and weird. What can I do? I've been a good girl since I got married, unlike in my early twenties.

Should I have more often then? I asked them? We all laughed at it seems they are also like me. We get drowned working and being a good wives but hey! We are now out in our home so why not enjoy? With that thought we happily drink and after we a re with one bottle, we added one more.
