Hi hivers! Another weekend is here and another weekend engagement, I'm happy to be part of this weekend-engagement and it all thanks to @galenkp for the initiative of this amazing platform.
For this week I will like go for the first option,
One: When I grow up I want to...

As children we all had ambitions to be and do certain things as adults. Do you remember yours? (I wanted to be a fireman). Tell us about what you wanted to be when you grew up, and why. Did you attain your goal and if not why not? If you managed to achieve your desired result, what did you do to make it happen and how did you stay on track.
When I was a kid, anytime they ask me what I want to be in the future my reply is always that I wanted to become a medical doctor.
At first I like to be a doctor because of the way they dress and how smart they are but my perspective change when I lost my younger brother I love so much. So after that I wish to be a doctor who saves life, if perhaps I become a medical doctor I won't have to witness the death of my loved ones, I think he died because the doctor that attend to him was not care enough, so I decided to be a doctor who care about her patient .
DID I ATTAIN MY GOAL
Well no, I didn't attain my goal because of financial problem, my parents are not well of and nobody is willing to help. At first I tried to save money to sponsor myself but I cannot save enough money even for the first year.
After I waited and work for sometimes, one of my uncle asked me to try again and give me the money to go and collect the form for nursing school, I wrote an entrance exam and got admitted, so I called my uncle to tell him that I have been offer an admission and he said he will get back to me the second day. On the second day I called him but he didn't pick up, I texted him no reply, I waited till the acceptance fee payment closed and when I see that there is nothing I can do, all hope lost so since then I decided to let go and focus on something else other than being what I have always wanted to be.

Thanks for checking on my blog and have wonderful day

Wow. What a bitter sweet story.

I can't believe your uncle just abandoned you like that. That must've hurt i'm sure. So sorry about that.

Anyway, before I go, I jus wanted to suggest that you use more paragraphs and spacing in your write ups. It makes it much easier for your viewers to be able to read post.

@leemah1 Really, I had the hunch to become a medical doctor but I did not the second stage exams and I was happy. Why? I did not really like biology more than maths. So I eventually went back to engineering.
I am sorry about the latter part of your post but I assure you all hopes are not lost. Keep the energy up!!

There are many lives still being lost in the world, and you can help in another way. Many need to be heard, guided or loved.

Others just need a glass of water, a blanket for the cold, you can still save lives.
