LOH #160// Letter To My Dear Grandma
Death is inevitable but losing someone who is dear to our heart can be really painful and at times hard to accept. Experiencing the feeling of grieving and longing is natural when we lose someone so dear to us but then, I think writing a letter to someone who have passed can be a way to ease our pain and a way to express our emotions and feelings.
If I had the opportunity to write a letter to my loved ones in even and there is a chance that she will get to read it, I will like to write a letter to my grandma, I have a lot of things to tell her and here are some of those things.
Dear grandma,
I want you to know that not a day pass without me remember you, thinking about you and all of the impact you had on my life. Your sudden departure leave a void that is hard to fill in my heart and it hurt a lot with the loss of your physical presence with me. I missed the moment we spent together, our conversation, the laughter we shared and the warmth of your company.
Even though you are not here with me any longer, the memory of you will continue stay in my heart forever. I always found myself reminiscing about those cherished moment we share together. The memory of how you love me, your kindness to other but your wisdom bring me comfort in the midst of the pain of your absence.
There are so many things I wish to tell you. I want you to know that you meant so much to me and I'm truly grateful for the time we had together, all the things you taught me are still helping me coping with the hardship of this life but like your teaching, I would never give up until I achieve my goals. You really touch my life in a profound way and your passing has reminded me it the fragility and preciousness of every moment of life.
I hope you are at peace in the realm beyond, free from any sort of pains and suffering. Please know that even though you are gone, your legacy still lives in my heart throu the love and memories I hold dear. Though navigating this life without you is really challenging but I Know that your spirit still continue to guide and inspire me.
And I promise to carry your love and the lesson you imparted with me in all my journey. I strive to live the life that honors your memory so that people will not point a wrongful finger towards you and accuse you of teaching me wrongly. Spreading love, show kindness to others, be compassionate and light just as you did when you were still alive.
Well, I find comfort in the believe that you are watching over me from the above and my strength from the connection we share within my heart. Your departure have taught me to cherish the time I have with loved ones and never to take anybody for granted.
I don't know if it is possible but until we meet again, just know that I love you and you will forever hold a special place in my heart.
with all my love
your lovely granddaughter
