Learn to Code Tribe Updates: Discord Server and Community Roles/Titles

Two quick updates:

  1. In case you haven't seen it, the Learn to Code tribe now has a Discord server.

https://discord.gg/n6WWEMQD67

If you have any suggestions for channels to add to our tribe's Discord server, please feel free to request them.

@antisocialist has suggested that the Learn to Code tribe should also have a Matrix room. @learn2code was not familiar with it until the suggestion, but I've looked into it since then. @learn2code will have limited internet access between April 14 and May 4. Since @learn2code is new to Matrix rooms, it's better to start one in May when there will be fewer distractions and more time to focus on it.

Please let me know in the reply section if you are interested in having a Learn to Code Matrix room.

2 . We're starting to add member roles and titles for the Learn to Code #hive-188262 community. If you would like a member role and/or community title like "Python student" or "DApp developer," you can request it in the reply to this post or in the Learn to Code Discord server. If you make the request within around a day and a half after this is posted, you will likely get a quick response. After that, your request will likely be delayed until the beginning of May.

Thanks for reading this. The next update will be about the BYTE: STEM liquidity pool.

The action is going to be really exciting tomorrow. I mean, we could see $3 to $4 in trades on #STEM

...

and I just realized that I am on a platform where $3 in daily trades sounds exciting.

Well, the price of STEM collapsed on low volume. There is nothing in the rule book that says it can't pop on low volume as well.

!LOL

Tomorrow? I just switched the pool on a few minutes ago.😁 Hive blockchain uses UTC time so it's been April 13th on Hive for awhile.

Odd, I looked at tribaldex just before writing that last reply. The BYTE:STEM pool wasn't there yet.

Well it is there now and I am now a proud owner of a 9218.990 BYTE share of the pool.

Speaking of the pool. I am looking at the BYTE Richlist and wandering which account owns the coins in the pool. If there is 82 BYTE in the pool; shouldn't there be an account holding that 82K BYTE in the richlist?

The act of moving funds in and out of the pool is instantaneous; So, the BYTE I put in the pool is essentially liquid BYTE.

That's a good question. I don't know the answer. Hopefully someone with more knowledge of Hive layer 2 will see it and be able to explain what is going on there.
