It’s been a landmark week for Thorchain! On May 5th, the highly anticipated TCY token officially launched, transforming the protocol’s debt into a new asset class. Technically, the rollout has been smooth, and the Thorchain ecosystem is buzzing. LeoDex even became one of the first frontends to enable TCY claims, creating an exciting bridge between Thorchain and HIVE. This move could ripple out to Leofinance, potentially unlocking a fresh revenue stream that might push the LEO token to new highs.

But here’s the puzzle: while the fundamentals are strengthening, the price of RUNE hasn’t followed suit. Looking at the chart, we see RUNE sliding from around $1.36 at the end of April to just above $1.18 now — a steady downtrend despite all the bullish news.
