Hello my Hive Open Mic Family and Community. You are welcome to Hive Open Mic week One hundred and sixty-six, and the Theme of this week is "Never Give Up."
It's a great privilege for me to select the theme of this week; a privilege that I'll always cherish.
The Hive Open Mic community is not just a community for me, but it's a family where I learnt genuine engagement and making real friends on Hive. It is also a family that contributed greatly to my growth on this wonderful blockchain, and my success story on Hive will be incomplete without mentioning the great role this family with its wonderful admins and moderators played towards it.

In our world today, it is so sad to realize that hopelessness has become the watchword of many people. They swim in the pool of failure and think there's no point standing up or moving forward to achieve their goals. In fact, they've become goal-less and without dreams. They live their lives without purpose; they live each day just as each day comes, without short-term or long-term goals.
Many others are at the crossroad of giving up, at the brink of losing hope and just a door away from hopelessness due to the harsh conditions and difficulties they find themselves in. They think their condition is unredeemable and there's no point pushing hard.
The truth is that these two situations aren't something strange or alien to us. In fact, at some points, we might have felt something similar, and some of us are experiencing this at this moment.
I believe this theme will send a message of hope to everyone and all those experiencing tough times at the moment. Don't give up, keep pushing! If the way or method you've been following isn't making headway, use another method and way. But, keep pushing and never give up! Never lose hope till you accomplish that wonderful dream of yours.
En nuestro mundo actual, es muy triste darse cuenta de que la desesperanza se ha convertido en la consigna de muchas personas. Nadan en la piscina del fracaso y piensan que no tiene sentido levantarse o avanzar para lograr sus objetivos. De hecho, se han quedado sin metas y sin sueños. Viven sus vidas sin propósito; viven cada día tal y como viene, sin objetivos a corto ni a largo plazo.
Muchos otros se encuentran en la encrucijada de darse por vencidos, al borde de perder la esperanza y a una puerta de la desesperanza debido a las duras condiciones y dificultades en las que se encuentran. Piensan que su condición es irredimible y que no tiene sentido esforzarse.
Lo cierto es que estas dos situaciones no son algo extraño o ajeno a nosotros. De hecho, es posible que en algún momento hayamos sentido algo parecido, y algunos de nosotros lo estamos experimentando en este momento.
Creo que este tema enviará un mensaje de esperanza a todo el mundo y a todos aquellos que estén pasando por momentos difíciles en estos momentos. No te rindas, ¡sigue empujando! Si el camino o el método que has estado siguiendo no está haciendo progresos, utiliza otro método y otro camino. Pero, ¡sigue empujando y nunca te rindas! Nunca pierdas la esperanza hasta que logres ese maravilloso sueño tuyo.
To celebrate this wonderful theme, I decided to compose a song. Although it was difficult for me, because I had to consider a song or musical genre that'll suit the theme and pass across the message effectively.
Hence, I decided to create a melody around the famous Chord progression: Canon in D Major by Johann Pachelbel.
I just composed the Melody and formed the lyrics today, and I decided to present it on the same day of composition.
I hope you enjoy this piece.
Para celebrar este maravilloso tema, decidí componer una canción. Aunque me resultó difícil, porque tuve que pensar en una canción o género musical que encajara con el tema y transmitiera el mensaje con eficacia.
De ahí que decidiera crear una melodía en torno a la famosa progresión de acordes Canon en Re Mayor de Johann Pachelbel.
Acabo de componer la melodía y de darle forma a la letra hoy mismo, y he decidido presentarla el mismo día de la composición.

Thank You @ksam bro for such a motivation. We really give up often because of obstacles and hurdles on the way of destination. We should stand again and work again. Never give up and stay hopeful.
True brother. The truth is that these external and internal obstacles are so much, and many of them weigh us down so greatly that it pushes us to give up on our way to our destination. But, yes, we should never give up! We should push further till we accomplish our goal!
It's really sad that hopelessness has become a watchword and people are on the verge of losing it and giving up.
I must commend you for such a wonderful theme. Apart from presenting songs I really do hope somebody gets inspired and motivated.

Yes. People are at the verge of losing hope everyday, and that's why some people go to the extreme length of taking their own lives 🤦♂️ thinking all hope is lost and no possibility to change the situation.
Yes, it's my hope that we motivate or strengthen others. The truth is that many of us are experiencing this at the moment; whereas some say it publicly, others keep it private to themselves. So, I really hope it motivates everyone no matter what they are facing at this moment... keep pushing on!!!
