ANOTHER CHANCE

Let me start by saying I do not believe in reincarnation. This is my personal opinion which I have every right to have. As a believer there are cases in the scriptures that talk about reincarnation. A lot of bible scholars even believe Elijah was reincarnated in John The Baptist. But then again, even though I do not believe in it doesn’t mean I totally disregard the idea of its existence. There are Scholars in my religion that also believe it is appointed unto man to die once and after that judgement, So I believe anyone that likes looking at the bigger picture of things will understand why I don’t believe in reincarnation but do not also disregard its possibility.

Looking at it from the religious point of view, there is no tangible proof that the claims of reincarnation are true and people who believe it do so due to personal convictions and teachings. A lot of people have also claimed to have died and saw heaven bringing messages for mankind and these all point to the reason why I am skeptical about the topic of reincarnation. But I do not disregard the possibility because the world is a strange place where almost anything is possible. There are a lot of things that even the greatest scientists can not explain which adds to the wonders of the world and if reincarnation is true, then it is indeed one of those wonders.

If it is true then there will be a lot of questions to ask, is the process of reincarnation by choice or something that just happens, why do people deserve to be reinstated and others don’t. Is there a criteria for it.. Now you see why I am skeptical. This whole thing is more than what it looks. I remember as a child I came up with the notion that I might have had a twin in the womb because my mum told me she tried abortion when she was pregnant with me. Later on I look at one of my brothers who looks a lot like me and behaves in similar fashion with just a difference in temperament and I thought he was probably my reincarnated twin. The idea seemed nice at one point but then the truth is that it was something I made up, it was the imagination of a child and telling people my dead twin reincarnated would be so untrue.

This is why I do not just believe people when they talk about these things because the possibilities of it coming from a fragment of an imagination is high. Like me as a chile a lot of people would rather prefer to believe whatever it is that makes them feel good, than actual reality. For that fact that a child looks like an ancestor of the family doesn't make them the ancestor. Some would go about filling that child's head with events to make them believe so and others will try to merge scenarios together to believe that the person has been reincarnated. I on the other hand believe everybody is their own person except some unique and unexplainable say otherwise.

Just kije you, I can't really say if u believe or not. The idea of past-life experiences shaping our present is captivating. If it happens to be, then it's mystery that might be beyond our understanding.
