Hive Keychain + Hive Auth
Hive Keychain mobile Apps have been updated and now include Hive Auth capabilities.
If you don't have the mobile Apps yet, you can download them here :
What it does
Basically, you can now sign transactions coming from anywhere (your desktop browser, mobile browser or mobile Apps) through your Hive Keychain mobile App, thanks to @arcange's Hive Auth. And this of course, in a secure manner.
How to use it
You can get some information on Hive Auth by clicking on Icon 1 above.
On the same device, mobile Apps and browsers can communicate with Keychain via deep linking.
To sign transactions for your desktop device, initiate the communication by scanning a QR Code (icon 3) above.
Icon 2 shows you if your App is connected to Hive Auth at any given time.
Once you initiated a connection by clicking on a deep link or scanning a QR Code, you'll be prompted to authenticate, and choose for how long your session will be valid.
That's it, you can now perform transactions and whitelist them!
Hive Auth Status
When there is an active connection to Hive Auth, the indicator will turn green.
If the connection is dropped, it will automatically try to reconnect, if it fails, the indicator will turn red and you can press it to attempt to connect once again.
Pressing the indicator for a long time drops every current session and disconnect from Hive Auth.
Keychain in the background
It's working great on Android and you'll be able to sign posting key transactions without returning to Keychain (if the operation is whitelisted). If Keychain doesn't sign your transactions while in the background, try excluding it from your battery saving settings.
Unfortunately, iOS doesn't allow background actions except for a very limited number of cases, so you'll have to have Keychain opened to sign transactions.

Nice update, but I hope the problem of conversation from HBD to HIVE which always get upto 5 to 6 days before it converted is been solved?.
I encounter with this problem of a thing when I try to use keychain for conversations, even thought I've lost the coin when I waited so long and I don't see anything untill the 7th days before it get converted.
Conversions always take 3.5 days to process, and this is not a Keychain feature, but how it is at the blockchain level.

I'm having trouble authenticating, the button has always been gray, when I'm on the pc it never connects to scan the Qr, please can you help me?
You need to click on the QR icon to scan the QR code
I do it, but it never showed me the Qr code on the pc, it says error and to try again.
The times that I have tried to do it it does not allow me, perhaps it is because it never connects, the icon always appears offline (gray)

I am honestly asking. I have not used iOS so far, and probably I will not use it in the future either. The iPhones and the Apple products in general are much more expensive than the Android smartphones.
Having too many Apps in background could impact battery and performance, so I understand that they impose limitations. Although it should be up to users to be able to authorize this kind of behavior. They render some features impossible but Apple doesn't care.

Isn't there a trick to go against the locking mechanism, such as maintaining the phone app on focus (never hibernate)? I know this will rip off the battery but for a necessary evil (and could be an iPhone-only option.

Unfortunately, no.
It seems that on an iPad, it is possible to open two Apps at the same time, I will look into it. Other than this, it doesn't seem like there are other solutions.

I so much love hive keychain, at first I use to make my transactions right from PeakD until a friend of mine taught me how to make use of Keychain and I've made some transactions on the app... Can't wait to update mine too
