[ESP-ENG] Capturas del Taller Escenográfico <Screenshots of the Scenographic Workshop>

¡Hola! En esta ocasión les comparto una serie en B/N de algunos de los tiros que hice en los talleres de “Escenografía”, “Escultura” y “Pintura y Artesanía” del “Teatro San General San Martin”, un icónico y mágico lugar de Buenos Aires, Argentina.

En este bello lugar cobran vida las creaciones de cada obra del Complejo Teatral. Entre esculturas de enormes dimensiones, tachos de pintura y telas, se percibe la magia creativa de cada elemento que conforma una escenografía en sí.

Hello! On this occasion I share a series in B / W of some of the shots that I made in the workshops of "Scenography", "Sculpture" and "Painting and Crafts" of the "Teatro San General San Martin", an iconic and magical place of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In this beautiful place, the creations of each play in the Theater Complex come to life. Among enormous sculptures, paint cans and fabrics, the creative magic of each element that makes up a scenography itself is perceived.

Por aquí les presento uno de los dos Atlantes de la obra “El árbol” que se presentó en la "Sala Martin Coronado" y se ubicaron en el proscenio de la caja escénica, en la actualidad custodian el taller de “Escultura”.

Here I present one of the two Atlanteans from the work "The tree" that was presented in the "Martin Coronado Room" and they were located on the proscenium of the stage box, currently guarding the "Sculpture" workshop.

Cada día se hacen las diferentes muestras de paletas de colores según los bocetos que presentan los escenógrafos y así queda la zona luego del trabajo, la composición de los diferentes elementos y manchas, me inspiraron a captar este único e irrepetible momento.

Every day the different samples of color palettes are made according to the sketches presented by the set designers and this is how the area remains after work, the composition of the different elements and spots, inspired me to capture this unique and unrepeatable moment.

“Látex y Anilinas”	NIKON D3200	f/36	13s	ISO 100

Entre materiales modernos como pinturas látex al agua y más clásicos como anilinas, los artistas tiñen los lienzos que dan vida y recorren el escenario.

Between modern materials such as water-based latex paints and more classic ones such as anilines, the artists dye the canvases that give life and travel the stage.

Esta mascara está situada en una de las paredes del taller de escenografía desde hace mas de 20 años, sintiendo la calidez de los rayos del sol que atraviesan los ventanales, desde la mañana hacia el ocaso.

This mask has been located on one of the walls of the scenography workshop for more than 20 years, feeling the warmth of the sun's rays that pass through the windows, from morning to sunset.

“Pinceles en movimiento”	NIKON D3200	f/5,6	1/6s	ISO 100

Constantemente los pinceles, pinceletas y rodillos encavados están en movimiento, recreando las imágenes de los bocetos para conformar los diferentes elementos de escena.

The brushes and recessed rollers are constantly in motion, recreating the images of the sketches to conform the different scene elements.

“Telón entramado”	NIKON D3200	f/20	2s	ISO 100

Este telón fue realizado con tiras de otros telones que se utilizaron en diferentes actividades, conformando una trama. Esta obra ecológica fue presentada en el evento de “El ojo de Iberoamérica 2015” que se llevó a cabo en el “Hotel Hilton” Buenos Aires, Puerto Madero.

This curtain was made with strips of other curtains that were used in different activities, forming a plot. This ecological work was presented at the "The Eye of Latin America 2015" event that took place at the "Hilton Hotel" Buenos Aires, Puerto Madero.

Luego de girar continuamente llega el merecido descanso para estas maravillosas herramientas. Son lavadas en las piletas con abundante agua y se dejan reposar para el secado.

After turning continuously comes the well-deserved rest for these wonderful tools. They are washed in the sinks with plenty of water and left to rest for drying.

Cada una de las obras del Teatro tiene una duración aproximada de 3 meses según la agenda anual de programaciones, cuando éstas terminan se guardan los telones para una posible reposición.
He aquí los telones durmiendo, a la espera de volver a ser revelados por las luminarias escénicas mientras cuelgan de la parrilla en una danza constante con el sonido que las atraviesa.

Each one of the Theater's works lasts approximately 3 months according to the annual programming schedule, when these are finished, the curtains are kept for a possible replacement.
Here are the curtains sleeping, waiting to be revealed again by the stage lights as they hang from the grill in a constant dance with the sound that passes through them.

Aquí capté el momento de la realización de una alfombra artesanal construida con retazos de tela que se utilizaron para hacer un trenzado y así crear esta bella trama.

Here I captured the moment of the realization of a handmade rug built with pieces of fabric that were used to make a braid and thus create this beautiful pattern.
