Saludos estimadas amigas de Ladies of Hive es un gusto y un bonito placer volver a saludarles después de algunas semanas de estar sin publicar en mi blog. En esta ocasión estoy redactando para responder a la pregunta número uno del concurso semanal de la comunidad.
Greetings dear friends of Ladies of Hive, it is a pleasure and a nice pleasure to greet you again after a few weeks of not posting on my blog. This time I am writing to answer question number one of the weekly community contest.

Esta es una pregunta que nunca me había planteado, pero ya que surge la oportunidad de pensarlo un poco puedo decir que ambas actividades me agradan en igual medida. No obstante, también debo confesar que en mi juventud prefería las películas a los libros. Supongo que con la edad los gustos van cambiando o se acentúan, por lo que ahora me gustan más los libros.
This is a question that I had never asked myself, but since the opportunity arises to give it some thought, I can say that I enjoy both activities in equal measure. However, I must also confess that in my youth I preferred movies to books. I suppose that with age tastes change or become more pronounced, so now I like books more.

En cuanto al cine, el género que más me agrada es le género romántico, en especial las películas de época. Las historias de amor ambientadas en épocas pasadas son de mis favoritas. También me agradan las comedias románticas, de hecho, hay algunas películas que he visto en más de una ocasión, por lo que puedo decir que es un buen entretenimiento, pero también nos dejan grandes lecciones de vida.
As for movies, the genre I like the most is the romantic genre, especially period films. Love stories set in the past are one of my favorites. I also like romantic comedies, in fact, there are some movies that I have seen on more than one occasion, so I can say that it is a good entertainment, but also leave us great life lessons.

Los libros, por su parte, además de ser una gran actividad de entretenimiento, también van más allá puesto que es mucho lo que podemos aprender de ellos y también existen una gran variedad de géneros literarios para escoger. Los libros nos transportan a mundos diversos y nos permiten activar la imaginación y cultivar conocimientos.
Books, on the other hand, besides being a great entertainment activity, also go beyond that since we can learn a lot from them and there is also a great variety of literary genres to choose from. Books transport us to different worlds and allow us to activate our imagination and cultivate knowledge.

En conclusión, puedo decir que me defino como una book person, más que como una movie person, pero ambas actividades me agradan y las disfruto mucho. Gracias por leer, saludos y bendiciones.

I used to read much more often.
At least that was before I got mixed up in Hive and kissed away the majority of my reading time. And Life got busy that I fell out of the exercise.
I still have a pile of paperbacks in my little private library, one day.
